I renewed my library books online and ordered some joint supplements for my cat and dog. I already give them to my cat, but thought I should try my dog too as they are both elderly now. I went for a walk to Coop and looked in a charity shop, but didn't find anything. It is lovely weather here. I do need to check my state pension forecast. I did check it the other day, but I read something on a early retirement FB group that made me want to check it again.
I had a picture of my cat on my phone as the screensaver, but I changed it to a pic I took at the beach at the weekend. My cat died just before Christmas so I thought it was time to change the pic.

Managed to knock down the curtain in the bathroom with my stick & it’s now in the wash. Beautiful photo @Wednesday2000. I was advised to print out the state pension forecast pages that show each years contributions. There will be a date accessed recorded at tge top of your print out - just in case of any discrepancies at a later stage.
that's great stick skill @beanielou. How will you get the curtain back up? Hopefully you've got a willing helper.4 -
I finished work early so made the most of the nice weather and painted another bit of my very long, 8ft tall, extremely ugly breeze block wall in the garden.
My put off for weeks job for today will be to change a flickering light in the kitchen.Debts 04/01/25 01/07/25

Such a calming pic @Wednesday2000
If the curtain needed a wash it is indeed a win @beanielou!
I failed on my tasksbut I can see why I haven't done them now.
The curtains have different fittings so can't be swapped. And the place I planned on doing stretches, isn't where I actually want to do them!
No excuse for not tidying my bedroom however, I can see that...
Task tomorrow is to tidy me bedroom (again)If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

A busy day for me and trying to mouse-proof the flat is not a big job I needed added to my list!
But penpal was replied to, and enquiry was sent about the laptops.
I need to book an opticians appointment but I'm gearing up to it, I did open the website so that's a start!
Everyone is doing very well indeed, keep up the good work team 💪3 -

I changed the lightbulb but then realised I'd bought warm white and the other 3 were bright white. So I had to change all 4!!
I need to have a think about which of the annoying tasks I'm going to tackle next. I quite like just deciding on one or two because then I feel like I've actually completed something when I do them.Debts 04/01/25 01/07/25

Lovely picture Wednesday.
I spent this afternoon potting many bulbs and bare root plants which I had been putting off for weeks. I did not so much as look at the paperwork, but equally I haven't wasted the afternoon doing nothing much so I am ok with that.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

2 more tasks ticked off the list today. I've found a nice green felt pen that I'm using to tick off my completed tasks. It's highly motivating and reminds me of playing schools when I was a child.Tomorrow I'm going to tackle 2 garden jobs which I've been doing in my head for weeks but haven't progressed to actually doing in real life.4
