You don't have to be paying a subscription, you just need to a) be logged in, and b) be following the Octopus account.

I signed up to the March fix at about 11pm last night. Starts from today.

Mine has changed from 14 to 12mths but same s/c and unit rate, just phoned up - answered in a few seconds - and moved over from Agile, all updated and rates confirmed in the account. Tempted by Cosy but s/c is a 1p higher and unit rate is 5p higher, would only be able to use the half price in the afternoon so not worth the hassle at the moment. Will have another look at Agile in a month's time, see how I get on with this one, first. Don't use gas until December so staying on Tracker as s/c is 4p lower. I noticed on Agile that I am usually getting hit by the morning peak and post 7pm rates are often poor even though you get some good late morning/afternoon rates. Be interesting to see how it all averages out.

I usually email to change tariff, and found they honour the price, back to the day you ask for that tariff, as emails take a while to get an answer.

So just check they do that, and if not, email them.
