i see another new 14 month fix is out on octopus
gas is again cheaper also electric SC has came down a lot also price per unit is down
so worth checking it out

Ooh thanks @northernstar007. I will switch to that today.If I use less that 5547kwh/year of electric (East Midlands), then that new tariff is better than January 2025 v1. As I use 900 ish, due to having solar panels, that's an easy decision.My older gas tariff is cheaper, so I won't switch that.PLEASE do your own calculations, as I can't guarantee my maths pre coffee.1

I'm seeing a modest improvement for gas : 6.19 p/kWh to 6.12 p/kWh with the SC unchanged at 29.43 p/day. This is loyal octopus 14 month compared with what I wrote down a few weeks ago.

Lower standing charge but not as low as the capped tariff, I think.0
