i am determined to plough my way through all of the charity cards that I am making before starting on my own Christmas and craft group idea samples. I nearly cracked today and decided to mark out a mosaic idea. Then I have myself. good talking to and got back on track. Went and bought 4 packs of double sided tape. £6.00 on total. 15 cards made yesterday.

I fell off the bandwagon and bought a new paper pad that was on sale for £2.50. In my defence I did make 2 cards with it so it has practically paid for itself (crafters maths 😜)project 20/52 ✅ complete

Well deserved crafty Rach, it's a beautiful cardigan!
I have one to report! An enormous 80th birthday card (some may recall I did one previously)- a concertina card with 80 candles on, 10 per a6 page. Forgot to take a photo of it as I finished it the morning of the party 😬
I did miscount and I have 10 "candles" left, so I'll make a generic happy birthday card with the leftovers. I am trying to use my scraps up at the moment so have a few part made bits on my desk I can finish off. Will try to remember to post photos!

There have been some super makes, well done ladies.
I have 4 makes, and no purchases to report. I am particularly pleased that I finished off 3 cushions my mum made over a decade ago ! (counted as one make).
We have decorated a spare bedroom, and I am going to use that as a craft room, so I hope to get more crafting done, as I can leave things out. Getting rid of a lot of the junk we stored in the room has been a major excercise though, we are both hoarders. I made curtains, and they went up today, so I am feeling enthused, and hope to get on and tackle my stash mountain soon.

I think you'll find the space really helpful @old_fogey. I always found it helpful when I knew I could start something and leave it out to finish another day. When you know you have to tidy it all away it becomes less tempting to finish the bigger jobs! 😂 or at least that's what I've found!5

Thank you all for your kind comments! I was totally surprised to see that one of my makes had made photo of the week. 😊♥️6

Congratulations on so many levelsMost middle-class families are hoarders, me included. It's taken me the best part of 3 years to major declutter my home and it's still going on bit by bit. The extra space is out of this world, especially as I now have an organised art room & an office and if I feel like house, clothers, shoes or art shopping, I shop in my own house and change things around in a room or from one room to another. Sounds crazy but I haven't bought anything for the house for 3 years and am enjoying the items I kept
Well done with the curtainsThere's nothing better than a house with items that have been handmade
I must admit that I've been off the crafty train since the beginning of the year but then I'm focusing on getting fully decluttered before I begin crafting again.7 -
@Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine , yes I am sure I will attempt more crafting as everything will be to hand as well. Previously, If I needed to make cards, I had to gather up what I think I needed and take it downstairs. And bigger things I can leave out.
@Dizzycap Well done on your decluttering, I am very impressed. I have probably been at it only 18 months or so, but the more I do the easier it gets, and I can see the benefit. I really need to stick at it. We emptied the loft above the bedroom/craft room before we decorated it - there were about 50 empty wine bottles in case we wanted to start making wine again!! Ha ha. And we have way too much furniture to store all the rubbish in too.
Today I altered an enormous tablecloth to fit, and made napkins with the offcuts. I have been meaning to do it for about 15 years.2025 craft items finished 8/12
