@Soontobeoap those are beautiful cards, and congratulations on the mention. I looked at some you tube videos for the decorations. The round one, I cut the ribbon into lengths, put a pin at the edge half way down the long side, the fold the ends down to form a triangle, and pin in place. The pincone one, fold to a triangle and pin on, with the meeting edges underneath rather than on top, if that makes sense. The rosettes are from horse activities, and bring back happy memories, so it is nice to do something with them.2025 craft items finished 11/12

Another three cards made out of scraps! Forcing myself to use up the pile of scraps from the desk (see right hand side for a small portion of it!) is definitely stretching the creative muscles a bit- never a bad thing. Now up to 24/200
I do need to make more of the birthday candle cards for my next craft fair- my husband nabbed the one pictured for his mum!Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

@ craftingmad please can I join you?
I crochet. I did some massive stashbusting through the winter. I found crocheted baskets in all sorts of sizes were brilliant and therapeutic ways to use my stash, which probably filled a couple of those big laundry bags, but I really got through loads of yarn doing those baskets and I nicknamed it yarn alchemy as using 3 or 4 strands of different yarn at a time made even some awful yarn look much better. I'll try to post some pics. I now have much less than 1 bag left to use up.
I did have to buy a few new balls for a specific project for an important present for someone but other than that I don't want to be buying any more. The baskets become quite addictive! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries May 2025

Thank you @ Dizzycap and @ Soontobeoap
That’s so good crafting for charity
I have 2 projects (one ongoing on the hook and one still to do) and after that would like to crochet for a cause.I have pics of the stash busting baskets. They are really addictive but so satisfying as they literally eat through your stash, especially if you’re using 3 or 4 strands at once, which helps your basket materialise so much quicker too.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries May 2025

Welcome @jennypennysaver the baskets are super. What a great way to use your stash.
@emsi_b the cards from scraps are lovely.
Well done @Soontobeoap with your charity cards.
I am feeling quite pleased. I have sewn lots of printed rosette tails together as a background, them mounted some rosettes onto this as a momento. I have finished 2, which are now at the framers, and about to start the third and last. Then there will be a few more Xmas decorations to make with remaining bits of rosette ribbon - then they will all be gone, which is an aim of my decluttering.2025 craft items finished 11/12

I really admire someone with a talent like that as I know how tricky making things can be until you get used to it, or neevr, as the case may be!
Do you sell your baskets? Sorry, just being nosy really, although I'm also thinking of someone I know who may just love a couple of those beauties
