I meant to ask before @emsi_b How do you get your embroidery to show through a card with cut outs? Are you really good with a craft knife? It is a beautiful Christmas card
That was a kit. I have a really good craft knife, but it doesn't leave that smooth of an edge 😊

I have almost finished Peter Rabbit, and am disappointed. The colours in the kit are all wrong. Brown Peter rabbit is orange and yellow. The pattern is good, so I will hunt out some alternative browns from my shoebox of threads for the others. I suspect that all of the "browns" in this kit will be off, so will carefully study the patterns before making them in case I need to sub some colours. It does use up some of the oddments I've acquired, but I will be left with some other ones to use up. I have got a daffodil pattern that could use at least one of them!
