Nothing made, just coming to celebrate that I have fixed my sewing machine myself!!! Took the back off and found some condensed fluff, part of a broken needle and a bent pin. No wonder it refused to work anymore! Now back up and running in time to make a cape for world book day (The Highway Rat this year).Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

@Bubblesmum, nice to meet you. Your embroidery group sounds really worthwhile.
@Cupcakecraftscuddly canine, die cutting is fun, I don’t use mine as often as I should because I have so many card kits to use up. I did use it to make my husband’s Valentine card. I like the clean finish it gives. Well done on getting on with your Christmas craft kits. As you say, it was a thoughtful gift.
@Crafty Rach, you are a patient person. I’d probably have flung it in a corner if I’d had to undo it twice (I did that with a quilt I was making a couple of years ago – and it is still there!). But you got the reward of achieving a lovely wee cardi, whereas I have a lot of scrap fabric – when I finally grit my teeth and take it apart. And the next wee cardi is so cosy looking too.
Clever you, @emsi_b, fixing your sewing machine. You’ve saved yourself a fortune.
Well, my crafting dam has not burst as I’d hoped. All I’ve done is one Valentine card, made on Friday morning while his nibs was out bowling. I just cannot seem to stir myself to pick something up. I have a couple of birthdays next week – friend and granddaughter, so I’ll have to get cracking. Please direct any kicks up the rear end this way.

I made 3 cards today, one for a friend’s birthday and the others for my ‘giveaway stash.’ My craft total is so poor this year, I thought I’d make a comparison with last year’s progress up to today's date.
I think I forgot to post CNY card pics, so I've added them here. I forgot to take a photo of the sympathy card.

Well, that’s sobering! I had forgotten about #Hearts4MCR altogether! The deadline was 31st March last year, so I’ll have to get a move on. Last year I made about 90; I won’t manage that this year, but I will get some done.
Targets for the rest of February (10 days)
1. birthday card for granddaughter
2. 5 Christmas cards
3. birthday bag for granddaughter
4. 1 part of Christmas blanket (getting to that right after this)
5. 10 #Hearts4MCR
Wishing you all nimble fingers.
PS sorry about the messy comparison table - I'll know next time this doesn't like table format.

For my latest project, I think I should have chosen a more simple design for my first Izzy Doll. This one is for my Aunt, who is recovering from an operation, and adores Paddington. 💙project 10/52 ✅9
