@CraftyRach, great cards.
@daisy_1571, those are fab cushion covers.
And I STILL haven’t got my crafty mojo back ☹

last week I fulfilled my new years resolution and learned to knit. Can't stop me now
Busy knitting elves to raise funds for our community club. You won't believe how excited I am. Who says " you can't teach an old dog new tricks" I have made 10 so far and am practicing different patterns and stitches as I go. I have only dropped stitches once too! 😊

@Soontobeoap - fantastic job learning to knit! I love those little elves. I plan to knit an “Izzy doll” before the end of the year.4

@soontobeoap, looking at those fabulous wee elves, I cannot believe you have just learned to knit! They are wonderful.
And I have not got back to ANY crafting yet. I'm hoping that when I do start, it will be like a dam bursting!

Hello
I would love to join this group….. I am mostly do embroidery and crochet, with occasional patch working thrown in.I have designated this year as the year of reducing. Having had a manic few years doing a masters. I want to get back to one of my first loves which is crafting and use up my stash at the same time. We want to move in a few years time and that means I wanna lose a lot of my storage space and I kind of want to get to the point where I can go out and choose which new project I’m going to do next rather than having cupboards full of ones that I bought over the years….So I have set myself a target of 25 projects to complete. A budget of £150.00 to complete those projects. Hopefully that’s way above what I need. I haven’t got a clue!I do go to an embroidery group that is paid for class with kits, run by a Royal School of Needlework trained young woman who I like to support. So those costs will be on top of my WIP complete budget!Looking forward to hearing all about your makesAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

No real makes to report but for the first time I used my diecut to cut shapes out of Christmas cards before storing instead of just popping them into a box for "later".
I wish I'd done this years (and 2 moves) ago! The amount of space saved is astonishing 🫣 even if I haven't made anything with them yet!
I also started 2 (and finished one) kits I got for Christmas from my mother-in-law. Not really my thing she just saw them as "crafty" but I appreciate the idea! Thought it best to crack on with them rather than leave them on a shelf for another day as the packaging is always most of the space. The one I finished was wax melts so I'll give her a pack for mothers day 🤭7 -
After mis reading the pattern TWICE 🙄 and redoing the sleeves, I have finally finished this baby cardigan, which uses only 50g of my yarn stash 😊8/52 ✅12
