I did think of you @Liverpool_Anne when I was watching the game. Normally I’m a rugby girl but I have a good friend who’s a Geordie and was at Wembley so I rather felt I had to watch. As you can imagine after 70 years with no domestic silverware they were all very emotional.I had found this on Sunday which had belonged to my Grandad and probably dates to the 20s/30s so I took it to be a good omen✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Good morning declutteri@ Florenceem - I'm lost for words for how Mr. F was treated in hospital not only at being left sitting in a chair all night but in soiled clothes?! How utterly appalling and undignified to say the very least
And as for the hospital not bothering to contact you with an update about Mr.F, that truely beggars belief!
I do hope that you are sleeping ok or at least managing to take things a little easier. Easier said than done. Sorry to hear about today's funeral but I hope you're visit to the hospital is far more fruitful than it has been so far@ Mrs_Salad_Dodger - You might not think paying someone to cut the grass is MSE but from my perspective you used the time saved doing other things 😊 Personally, it's an absolute God send for me. I might manage a couple of initial quick long lawn cuts but anything lower or standard length, and I just can't physically do it. No ifs or buts the gardener comes in to declutter it!Decluttering for today: I'm going with the flow and will see what I achieve in between appointments - simple! He also does a fantastic job with the edges too. It always looks like Chelsea Garden when he's finished and he's very clean and tidy with his work, so win-win for all
Babyface loves him and she's also included as a helper which she loves
The help is mainly rolling about kicking her legs up on a freshly cut part of the lawn as a part of obvioulsy quality control which gives us all pleasure and a laugh to see!
He's always got time for babyface with her natural sense of curiosity and also spends time talking to her while he's working, so I really couldn't ask for more
Wishing everyone a terrific decluttering TuesdayOff to declutter another mug of coffee before my backside needs to get into gear

I have speed read 80 posts trying to catch up.@florianatwobob - wonderful news about your sister 🎉 I hope she can take it in and start to relax.@Florenceem - I really wonder what we have come to that Mr F can be left in that condition in hospital. I hope investigations and diagnosis are thorough enough this time. Take care of yourself xx
Mrs SD I hope you have got your Oomph back and are feeling better 💐
Lots of fabulous decluttering going on so well done everyone 👏17 -
Mrs SD, Mr V doesn't do gardening but I did get him to cut down some high up invading brambles yesterday. I once asked him to cut me some chives from a pot in the garden. I said it looks like grass. I did think they were tasteless and found out I had eaten Muscari leaves ! Wouldn't recommend them, they are tasteless! I think he would be up for lawn mowing if it involved a sit on mower.
The nervous lady hasn't been to knitting gang for a couple of weeks, I don't think she will come again. Dog lady has had Norovirus so also didn't come. No stopping bin monitor neighbour though!
I won't have time for 10 minutes in the garden today but did extra yesterday.
I have craft club this afternoon. I will take a new top I would like to alter slightly so it exposes less cleavage. I have started unpicking but can't see very well as it's navy blue. I will ask my friend to do it.I don't want to make a hole in it. 1 and a half sleeves to go on the latest baby jumper.
I hope you get somewhere with your GP Florenceem. MIL was the same, infection after infection.
LiverpoolAnne, commiserations with the football. Mr V as a Forrest supporter is positively giddy at the moment. How nice would it be to get loft insulation free. Plus bonus excuse to move OH's clothes and have a good sort out. I decreed that we wouldn't keep anything in this loft as we ( well, me) are too decrepit to be going up loft ladders and man handling stuff up and down. It was already boarded when we bought the house. The very big suitcases and some empty packing boxes have crept up there. The loft at the old house was massive and when it was emptied the majority of it was released into the wild.
I did a job for Mr V yesterday. Peeled off a lot of Gaffer tape that had been stuck to a PVC DJ cloth for years. Scrubbed sticky stuff remover in with an old toothbrush till it broke. Justified keeping that old toothbrush for more years than I can remember.
No decluttering except using up toiletries. No fear of running out soon. We are still using MIL's stash. We inherited it 2 years ago, I would think there is another 6 years before we actually need to buy any hand wash.

Used Up
Shampoo
Deodorant
Body spray
Shower Gel x2
Toothpaste
Nivea Body Cream tin
Body Shop Edelweiss Face CreamSo added the BS face cream to the UU list today, does it count as cheating if I used it on my feet? Been putting my moisturising socks on to try and get these feet ready for some sandals in the spring/summer.Debt Free - 4th June 202517 -
Declutter Update
Waterproof trousers x3
Electric toothbrush x2
Both of these belonged to my Mum so in a bag and gave her them when we took the dogs for a walk last night.
Bit by bit I'll get there. Weather is lovely out so if it keeps up this week I'll strip off all the couch cushions and get them washed and on the line. The really need a freshen up!

vulpix - My 2 sons and grandson are Forest season ticket holders - they went to the Ipswich match. I think they are more than giddy - Forest obsessed. One son queues for hours in the cold when a new strip is on sale.
When Mr F got into the hospital bed yesterday afternoon - I noticed that the skin on his right leg was shiny - she said - it was because it had just been washed. The first thing I will do when I arrive to visit Mr F this afternoon - is look at his leg. I also want to speak to a Doctor today.
Yes we have a SA funeral this afternoon - another on Friday and a third next Tuesday.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

What a lovely day it is. Made the mistake of going out on my walks with just leggings and a t-shirt so I am now chilled to the bone! Home with an oodie on, might actually blast the heating on for a wee hour see if I can get a heat in my bones.
Before I went out on the dog walks I went out to the main back court and picked up all the excess bits of wood and plastic that got left behind after the guys collected the back fence and shed. It's looking so much more tidy out there now.
Nephew will be here on Friday to finish putting the rest of the back fence up so I need to hire the nail gun again. I'll phone B&Q and see if I can collect one from the store rather than get it delivered.
Think it's gonna be nice all week so tonight I'm gonna get all the cushions off the couch, get them washed so I can hang them out on the line tomorrow before I head out, should be able to get them back on clean tomorrow evening.
@QueenJess - Thank you, yeah it is a very MSE way to use it. It made my face go very red, my skin is quite sensitive.
@Florenceem - Yeah I would defo check him over, it doesn't sound right if his skin in shiny. Could be cellulitis or something like that. Oh my so many, hope you're taking care of yourself.Debt Free - 4th June 202515
