Gosh Mrs SD I’m just getting up as you are going to bed. Hope you have a peaceful sleep. Oh @Florenceem I’m so sorry about MrF. It seems there is no end. You must be exhausted. Take some time for yourself, please.🙏 Decluttering took a bit of a dip last week, but intend to be on it again this week. Take care all13

Waiting on the people coming to declutter my fence and shed! Fingers crossed they show up.
@Jellybaby - Well that is an early trip! When I stayed with my Mum for a while a few years back she used to start at 5am and always woke me up cos she was running late. Don't miss that!@Brie - I miss my hot tub. Will get another when the back garden is all sorted. My toxic ex stabbed a hole in the last one when he left. How charming of him!@GrannyKate - I really need to paint my house. All white walls so should be easy enough - it's just trying not to paint the dogs at the same time is the problem. They're so nosy the pair of them and like wee velcro dogs.@Florenceem - What a nightmare especially with him being trapped in the bathroom. They'll get to the bottom of it. I hope you're as well as can be expected.@Soontobeoap - Wow 30 cards is a lot! Hope you make a good amount on them.@ionafan - Good multitasking there!@Dizzycap - They are AWESOME!Debt Free - 4th June 202517 -
Just did 10 minutes tidying in the back garden yesterday. I will do 10 minutes a day all this week to smarten it up a bit for house viewings. I have mended a very tatty Easter wreath that I made with DD2 when she was 7. I couldn't throw it even though it is way past it's best.
We are going to make an appointment to view a house ten miles from where we live now.. It is as ugly as sin but it has good bones, and fields at the back. The other one we viewed sold after 5 days on the market.
Love those little dogs Dizzycap. I got my Great Niece one on behalf of my Mum. More for my entertainment than hers!
Someone is coming to collect some disco lights in big cases for the youth project shortly. Well done Mr V. That's more big items gone.

I had a nice weekend, although we didn't go out on Saturday and I have cancelled going out today as I feel too tired. I went out yesterday for Sunday lunch in Hackney and then we saw Dr Rangan Chatterjee give a talk. He was really good and even my husband liked it. I find him very inspirational with his attitude to wellness. He talks about the importance of making small changes and so I decided a good way to increase the amount of books I'm reading is to read 25% of a kindle book every day which I just did. I also went for a walk outside and booked myself a massage for this week.
I wore a black cardigan I bought from New Look (a couple of months ago) for the first time and realised that I accidentally bought a much bigger size as it must have been on the wrong hanger. I will keep it as I will use it as a dressing gown around the house next winter.
Right, I'm about to go and declutter my wardrobe as I'm not going out now so I may as well get something achieved.2025 GOALS

Monday: a dull, dark overcast day expected high 9°C but a warmer low of 5°C. DH has gone out for a walk. Straight into cheerleading:
vulpix, This “Mr V has seen the light about keeping un needed stuff but I don’t think he will keep the spaces tidy, It keeps him out of mischief to perpetually tidy his sheds” is such good news 👏 as hopefully each time MrV ‘tidies up’ he finds something else that can go 🤞 Your buyer does sound very cautious ☹️ Pleased to hear that your knitting lady is still very keen 😊 & just wondered if the ‘no confidence’ lady is still persevering with the knitting or if she is learning something else? Hope you enjoyed the rugby 🙂
Lovely cheerleading Liverpool_Anne 😊 Re This “……I love a good burn in the garden 😁.……. but I am a bit of an arsonist 😂 I once had a job in the lab of a company that made fire fighting chemicals that go in fire extinguishers etc and the best bit of the job was testing them by setting fire to various things and then putting them out, loved it 😂.” what a great job 😊 I remember doing a course to become a workplace fire marshal & loving the fire fighting bit of the course 🙊 I do hope you manage to track down the “young lad who is trying to start up a little business as a jobbing gardener” Keeping my fingers crossed that he does a good job in your garden so he will be given the job of clearing OH’s garden - now that OH is ready 🤞Pleased to hear that you have caught up on your sleep & hope that your back will soon be fully recovered 🙏 I remember doing a cake decorating course (also 6 weeks) many years ago (paid for) & there was not a cupcake in sight 😂 I hope you & your friend enjoy it as much as I did 😊
Florenceem, so sorry to hear about MrF 😢 It is definitely time that the medical profession step in as 7 hours on the toilet is just not normal 😔 I am hoping that your Doctor daughter will be able to get the ball rolling when she visits on Sunday afternoon 🙏 …. I have skipped ahead (saw Jellybaby’s comment) to your next post & see that the situation has worsened & that MrF is now in hospital 😢 So traumatic for both of you. You are in my thoughts & prayers 🥹
DH has just got home so I will post this & come back later.

Another session of cheerleading:
CRANKY40, £24 for one load of laundry to be washed & dried is exorbitant 😧 Your DS is fortunate to be living at home 😊
florianatwobob, I like it “a plethora of bins” 😄 Guess what - I googled ‘collective nouns for bins’ & found a thread on Reddit 🤣
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏
_Dolly_Rocker_, lovely cheerleading posts ☺️
QueenJess, I remember those days 😊 You attended a party & got a piece of cake wrapped in a paper napkin & if you were lucky a balloon 😉
Excellent decluttering Jellybaby 👏 Thank you for the information provided to Florenceem 🥹 Good luck to DS2 finding a new car 🍀
Brie, you are most welcome 🙂 I have checked my records & believe this is your first award of 2025. Excellent work in the greenhouse 👏 & pleased to hear that you found a use for the cigar boxes 😊 Ooh, a hot tub how marvellous 🤩 What was that - yes you’ve got it - you heard me turning green with envy 🤣
Another page caught up 😊 Hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 🙂

I am very happy to report that I have now decluttered a back fence and a shed!
You want to know who isn't happy about it? The guy who came to collect it. He got here with a younger guy to help him and asked me to take him and show him what was to be collected.
Took him out the back court and showed him and he said this is booked in for some garden waste so trees, bushes, grass etc. Showed him the pictures that I sent and the price that was agreed. Well he huffed and puffed and swore the place down. He then proceeded to say I am so sorry I am not getting at you but this job hasn't been booked in properly and the price is not right.
He then said not to worry it will all be sorted for the price agreed.
Phew - actually thought he was just gonna leave at one point! So all sorted for the princely sum of £180.00.@vulpix - 10 minutes a day is a good plan, it all adds up. You can change it all when you move in. I love where I live right now due to the access to the hills behind me. The flat isn't perfect, has lots of little things that kill the OCD in me. Light fittings off centre, windows off centre in all the rooms, radiator placement meaning I can't have furniture where I want it but honestly I just try to forget about all of that because I leave my house and I'm in the wilderness in about a 3 minutes! I love it so much.@Wednesday2000 - That sounds fab. Being outside really does help with the mood doesn't it. Good luck with the decluttering.@Brie - At least something went! The CS will appreciate it.Debt Free - 4th June 202517 -
Helloooooo
Am in a bit of a grump today - going through my text messages from the dr and just saw one that says I am now prediabetic blah blah blah. And they didn’t know why I didn’t get the call on Friday that I should have done. 🤬
So I grumpily did 2 loads of washing, my meditation homework (it didn’t help) and some decluttering:
124 a very battered dog toy that was binned when the dogs weren’t looking
125 ood fridge stuff
126 tidied up alllll my medication and recycled empty boxes
127 all nuts in an airtight container and packaging binned
128 a rubber thing meant for a dashcam.
I was going to pootle in the garden but was too cold so am going to start hubby’s scarf…..
MrsF - doesn’t sound good in your household 😥
Dizzy - love those dogs! There are 2 daxies just down from me who demand cuddles when I go past ❤️ Thanks for your information about the Daxie temperament - I had no idea.
Has anyone watched Adolescence on N…..x? Amazing acting and I cried my eyes out at the end. Such a poignant topic.
Kndle unlimited- I have found a new author - Rhys Dylan - and have been storming through his books. All detective stuff set in Wales and so so good! I have also reread Harry Potter….personally I think JKR lost her way a bit in the last 2 books….just my opinion.
Rogan is trying to find a tiny bit of carrot under the fridge….and has come to me for help. Pepper is all curled up n bed ❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering
