Thanks for the cheerleading Mrs_S_D. Ds still lives at home - he was lucky that the closest university was offering the course that he wanted and he thought it would be cheaper to live at here. He's right of course, I was talking to the mum of one of his schoolfriends the other week and she told me that her daughter has to pay £24 for a laundry load to be washed and dried. I can't remember what uni it was but £24 for a washload!
I've decluttered another 10 things today 😊17 -

Lovely posts _Dolly_Rocker_ ☺️
Wednesday2000, lots of cwtches coming your way 🤗 🤗 Sounds like your ‘oomph’ is definitely with mine - sunning itself on a beach in Barbuda 😉 I am not worrying about it as I know that at some point (hopefully soon 🤞) our ‘oomphs’ will return & we will be raring to go ☺️ Please remember that decluttering is a marathon not a sprint 😊 Excellent work keeping up with the exercise 👏 I hope you manage to get out on both Sunday & Monday 🤞 & that you enjoy your St Patrick’s Day celebrations 😊
Excellent decluttering Muddy_Walker 👏 Sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit “off” 😔 hopefully not a cold 🤞
Now, now Yoshimi2025 ‘wagging finger emoji’ Absolutely no need to “feel daft” 😊 Crafting bits at 50p, sounds like an absolute bargain 👏 especially when compared to Hobbycraft’s usual prices (which on the rare occasion I have visited seem rather expensive) I hope you managed to get the fabric & fabric marker pen that you went out for 🤞
Brie, absolutely brilliant decluttering in your greenhouse 👏 & excellent work decluttering the ivy 🥳 Everything looks so neat & tidy 😊 You have worked so hard & had such a good result that I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ Hopefully Freeglers will snap up all your bits & pieces & ask for more 🤞 Re the cigar boxes, I would definitely keep them 😉 As for the gardening bag, perhaps offer it to your gardeners 🤔 as bags tend to wear out quite quickly when in constant use & yours looks in good condition 🙂
Another page caught up 🙂 only 2 and a bit pages behind now. I will back later as I do need to put my iPad on charge 😉 DH is currently watching the MotoGP races & DSis is in her room either watching TV or napping 😉

@Liverpool_Anne - Very organised with your batch cooking. My days of being an arsonist were short lived. That job does sound fun though!@Florenceem - 7 hours! How can any Dr think that is normal. Hopefully you get through to someone and can get to the bottom of it. Do you know if you would be able to get in any help? Seems like you're taking on too much and you're gonna end up ill yourself. I would imagine she would see a massive difference in that time.@CRANKY40 - Well done on the decluttering. £24 for a load - WOW!@Florianatwobob - I have no idea.@QueenJess - Party tat is a joy isn't it!Debt Free - 4th June 202518

DD actually went to two parties this weekend, but the one yesterday she just came back with a slice of cake and a balloon. I was so relieved!

Evening all, I’ve been reading along but have had such a busy weekend that I need another to recover! I’ve been reading along but my brain is addled.
DS1 arrived for a months visit. He is an A&E doctor and says the amount of time your DH spends on the loo is definitely not normal and you need to shout loud and be insistent for help @Florenceem as your daughter is probably saying too.
I felt I had to cool my jets slightly with the declutterring but have four bags to go to the CS, and already dropped off five bags of rubbish at the tip. It is very addictive!
DS2 sold his car at the weekend for a decent price and has a test drive booked in a new to him car tomorrow night. But guess who is taxi to get him to work at 6am 🙄😳😳19 -

I have prepped everything for dinner & the beef is already in the oven to slow roast. Back to cheerleading:
Florenceem, your ‘oomph’ was last spotted on a sun bed on the beach sipping on a long tall glass of pink lemonade 😉 So sorry to hear that MrF is getting worse & causing you to “feel like you are living in a madhouse” 😢 😔 It must have been so wonderful to see both of your DDs & your DGD over the past couple of days 🥹 This conversation with your DGD “I sat and shortened the skirt straight away - Dd got it on Vin.. . and said - it was too long but I told her that her legs are too short.” caused me to smile broadly 😃 & also have a little 🤭 Meanwhile more Cwtches coming your way 🤗
Lovely chatty post Dizzycap 😊 The outside launderette prices seem very reasonable & I love that you & babyface had such an entertaining time investigating 😂 Reading your descriptive posts about the foxes & swans is such a joy 🥲 I feel so grateful that you are sharing with us & that we have you as our stand-in ‘David Attenborough’ 🥹 I am keeping everything crossed that all 9 eggs hatch safely but especially the ‘king male swan’ 🤞& that your “accessible garden fork” won’t be needed 🙏
florianatwobob, just wondering where on earth your council expects you to keep more bins 🤨 Wonderful news about your DSis 🥹
Lovely post retiredinfrance 🥹
Lovely post Dizzycap 🥹 I do hope babyface doesn’t get jealous 😉 with all the attention Gorgeous Gorda is getting 🥹 Mind you having said that, I seem to remember you saying that babyface & Gorda got along very well together ☺️ Hopefully the ‘coats’ are not only out of the Tardis Mega Wardrobe of Doom but also out of the house 🙏 Pleased to hear that you intend to concentrate on appointments next week 😊 although I do appreciate you might find it hard to resist ‘preparing and scheduling listings ….. which you actually find relaxing!’ 😌
Ta-da, drumroll please 😉 I will be starting on today’s posts in my next session of cheerleading 🥳 Now need to concentrate on timings for tonight’s dinner 😉

Ta for the ⭐️ Mrs SD!!
Wasn't sure what to do with it so popped in under my signature. Think I may have got one previously but it's all a blur.
And yes I did warm up yesterday but was back out there again today enjoying the fact that the greenhouse was nice and organised. Made a bit of a mess by getting some seeds planted - sunflowers, oxalis, butternut and butterbush squash and what I will always call zucchini! Will do a load of flower seeds tomorrow and then hopefully some things will be ready by the time the gardeners come for their May session. And all the plant labels will go in the big cigar box, and the veg and flowers split between the other 2. No interest yet in the freegling.
Did get quite cold again today when outside but I had a cunning plan in that I finished things in time to have a sit in the hot tub which was almost searingly hot and got to enjoy sitting enjoying all the blossoms and blooms that are bursting open. OH has a robin that comes and sits with him when he tubs but I just had super fat bees buzzing about.
