@charlies_tribe - Yup it was I! I'm a walking hazard at times. 1.7kg! Wow, I cleared out the kitchen drawer yesterday. My declutter pile is all in a bag. I'll update here later once I have a rummage through it.@Brie - Yeah it's lovely but COLD!Debt Free - 4th June 202516

@CRANKY40 - Well done. That's loads. Good you had DS on hand to help with the bags.@Dizzycap - We're just back in from a walk too. Was lovely. Both dogs snoozing now.@vulpix - Fab, always good to be able to pass things on if you know others will use them. You'll need to show off Paddington when he's finished.Debt Free - 4th June 202517

Saturday: a brighter, sunnier day than yesterday ended up being but still cold - a chilly wind means that 7°C currently feels like 1°C 🥶 DH has made my first cuppa & I am settling down ready to start cheerleading, so here goes starting with posts dated Wednesday
Lovely cheerleading Liverpool_Anne 😊 On the subject of earrings, I have kept a few pairs but rarely change the ones I wear as they are my very first pair of ‘proper earrings’ given to me when I was 4 years old & made from Italian gold 🥹 You had a busy Tuesday in the garden 👏 although I am sorry to hear that you have hurt your back 😔 Hopefully you are now fully recovered 3.5 days later 🙏
Lovely post retiredinfrance 😍
CRANKY40, Monday & Tuesday sound like busy days helping out DS 😊 Excellent work on Wednesday going through your clothes 👏 I am definitely interested in how many items you have managed to declutter as it might spur me on to tackle my wardrobe & drawers 🤞
_Dolly_Rocker_ , it sounds to me as if you love rearranging your bedroom furniture 😉 so it might not be the last time 😂 Hope you managed to get your errands done on Wednesday 🤞
Yoshimi2025, re This “……. 1 Easter Egg decluttered into my tummy, I love the thin chocolate on Easter eggs, treat myself to them pretending I’m going to give it to the grand kids 🤣☺️🙈” so pleased that I am not the only one who loves the thin chocolate 😊 although regrettably I am not able to share the pretence of giving them to someone else 🤣
Florenceem so very sorry to hear that MrF is giving you cause for concern again 😔 Hopefully the doctor/s will be able to make a proper diagnosis this time especially as dealing with MrF’s poor health is impacting so much on your own health. You are both in my thoughts.
_Dolly_Rocker_ what a lovely Wednesday afternoon spent with your family - especially playing with your great nephew 😊 Fingers crossed that you manage to get tickets to see Torvill & Dean 🤞
Florenceem, how kind of your SA friend to send food from the Wednesday lunch club 🥹 as well as flowers 💐 The curtains look beautiful 😍 Fingers crossed that MrF managed to complete whatever he was doing on the computer 🤞
_Dolly_Rocker_, sorry to hear that the Torvill & Dean tickets were sold out already 😞
One page caught up - perfect timing as I need another drink 😉 Hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 😊 Cwtches 🤗

The wheels have come off on my 2025 plans a bit as I didn't go to my most art recent class and also stopped going to my meditation classes. I was going to go to a different meditation class, but you have to bring your own pillow and blanket and I don't drive so I would have to carry them there and back. I'm not doing well with reading either as I have only read 3 books and I'm meant to be reading 100 this year. I was thinking of cancelling my kindle unlimited subscription!
I haven't been doing that much decluttering either. I do need to get rid of a table as I did buy the new desk to use up that dead space. I was going to call a local charity to see if they would collect the table. I did go through my tea stash. I threw away the sugar that was left in the canister as I don't really drink tea in the summer. I only bought so much tea as my builder was drinking loads of it, but this was back in 2023. I assume the rest of the tea will be okay as I have it in storage jars.
I was supposed to go out today for a local walk, but I felt too tired. We didn't go out to eat either so I just walked to Waitrose and bought a few things there. I'm meant to be going out tomorrow and Monday as well for St Patrick's day so maybe I needed a rest. Exercise is going well as I am making myself do 20-30 mins a day on my treadmill when I get up. I have done that four days in a row and I managed to walk even further outside to Waitrose and back today. It was quite a nice day outside, sunny and bright with a chill.

Now settled with another hot drink ready to resume cheerleading. DH was in his office watching MotoGP qualifying but is now in the kitchen making himself a bacon sandwich & DSis is watching TV in her room.

Lovely cheerleading Dizzycap 😊 Great work completing your Wednesday morning & afternoon tasks 👏 & good luck with your evening tasks 🍀
Beautiful flowers Florenceem 😍
Lovely cheerleading dND 😊 Pleased to hear that the old greenhouse metalwork has gone & how considerate of the chap to ask if it was OK to take 🙂 Good luck putting up the new greenhouse with DS1’s assistance 🍀
Lovely cheerleading Dizzycap 😊 This “On a very weird note, the paving leading from a country road to the back of my local BP garage was lifted for a few days and then put back exactly the same, so I really thought I'd had lost the plot when I made trips to the RM Quad Lockers
Low and behold this evening when I took babyface for her last walk of the day and dropped of declutter sales parcels, this is what I came face to face with,(outdoor launderette) which by the way has already been used!
It's located outside, is available 24/7, supplies all washing powder, liquid, softner, there's also a dryer available, and it alerts you by text 5 minutes before the end of it's completed cycle
- Yes, you read that correctly!
is absolutely brilliant 🤩
Lovely post Duchess2 😊
_Dolly_Rocker_ hopefully you managed to sort out the jigsaw puzzles on Wednesday 🤞 Also hope you slept well Wednesday night 😴
Happy_Kitties & Floss loving the chat about outdoor launderettes 🙂
Dizzycap, fingers crossed the prices aren’t too expensive 🤞Presumably payment is by card 🤔
Perfect place to stop & post as I am about to start cheerleading posts dated Thursday 🥳

Nothing decluttered from me today, I went out to buy fabric and a fabric marker pen, came back with lots of Hobbycraft bits all marked down to 50p, didn’t need them, probably won’t use them, why do I do this to myself, will list them on eBay near Christmas 🎄 Feel daft 🙈😣😩😤Decluttering Challenge 2025/1483

So let's see if I can load some befores and afters of the greenhouse. Still a bit of a work in progress but I'm happy with what's been done so far.
First shot was after I'd been working on it for about half an hour at least - note the ivy....
The other side and note the bit at the end with loads of plastic pots.

After!!! almost no ivy and the pot shelves are empty!!!! (ok - I've moved some elsewhere ready for tomorrow)
Surprised to have found 3 wooden cigar boxes all still with the cigar wrappers in them - must have belonged to my FiL. Trying to decide what to do with them as I know some people (like me) like them to store bits and pieces. Might use them for seeds....

And to freegle.....I've added a bit to say if anyone wants anything else to ask on the off chance it will prompt me to get rid of more.
thinking too that I need to get rid of my gardening bag - it was great when I used to do the actual gardening but now I hire a couple of young men (lovely!) to do the work for me so I don't need to have something to take stuff around the whole garden with me. If I'm doing stuff I usually just tuck the pruners in my back pocket or similar.
Wondering if someone is going to ask for the table too - it's handy but we do really need to get rid of it.
