Just 3 things for me today, a sale, a saved box and a bar of Chocolate treasure from TKMax which my granddaughter recycled for me, vegan salted caramel which sounded like it was no fun but apparently it was Yumski as it didn’t last her two seconds 🤣Decluttering Challenge 2025/1483

Good evening declutteri@ _Dolly_Rocker_ - Your experience sounds like a scene from an episode of Fawlty Towers. Whilst it's nothing to laugh about the melted Croc toe did make me chuckle, sorryI've finished all of my decluttering jobs for the day plus a number of extras with the exception of emptying and cleaning out the kitchen bin & wiping over the surfaces etc which I will get around to after I finish my coffeeI've also got a little sewing job to do before I go to bed as I've put it off for the past 2 days and it's so easy and simple to do.As for the decluttering of the Tardis Mega Wardrobe, there has been a negative development which I hope will resolve itself soon. As a reminder, my daughter & I agreed to clear out, donate and declutter sell all items that were not needed or had never been used etc leaving only the clothing, bags, scarves, shoes necessities, which there remain enough and will last a lifetime. In addition, we agreed a total spending ban on any unnecessary purchases. All has been going very well up until a couple of days ago when I was sorting through the Mr. Sains recycled boxes I have been picking up and organising all the tapes, mail bags etc as these can get messy. Having done that and organised all packaging behind the 1st door of the mega wardrobe, I decided to check behind doors 2 & 3 as I know these were totally empty. To my absolute horror, I found and counted 12 brand new still in plastic covering and expensive price tagged coats hanging behind door 3 that I know 100% have never been in the mega wardrobe or have come from any other wardrobe in the house let alone been stored anywhere else. I've checked with everyone who may have sent DD anything and everyone says it's a NO. However, my DD had a couple of days out last week which I was very please with and more than happy for her to have after the long struggles with health she's had.Whilst I might not have been taking pics and listing items over the past couple of days, what I have been doing is logging every item behind mega wardrobe door 4 & 5 Keep (the rest are being kept as DD clothes and shoes ready for the new standard wardrobe). Last night in order to keep the peace and as a reminder of the agreed NO Spending, I decided to label each door with an A4 piece of paper:1) Packaging ONLY, 2) Fully Empty, 3) 12 Unaccounted Brand New Coats that MUST to be removed before the Mega wardrobe leaves the house SOON!, 4) 25% empty; with a complete list of every item left in it which I will and have now been crossing off items as they are decluttered sold. 5) Keep. At this point and thank goodness, NO additional items have appeared into the mega wardrobe and I'm making a point of checking both in the morning and evening. I'm not snooping, I'm facing head on & coping with a potentially broken agreement, while waiting for my DD to clarify the situation at some point, and hopefully soon because 1) It's totally out of character for my DD and I'm concerned that she might be spending due to severe depression & 2) I'm certainly not going to remove or sell any unaccounted additional items:) There's always some fly in the decluttering ointment but it comes out in the end!I need to delcutter another mug of coffee etc before bed, so I'll say night, night to all now xxx Hugs to all that would like one & I wish everyone a very peaceful & sound sleep xxx~ NSD 2025 - NSD July 25/20 (6 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1634.34 / £2025 (58%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £13,429.74 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing15

I opened my front door 10pm tonight to go to the bin and there was a deer on my path just out side the door, not sure who was most shocked. There have been signs (droppings) on the path recently so I knew it was either a deer or a giant rabbit visiting my front garden! There's a footpath beside the house with a short cut to the forest 🦌
I have a fake leather storage ottoman in my dining room which I realised today I have looked in for at least a couple of years! Amongst other stuff was a ream of headed paper brought home when the department I worked for changed its name. I have a key to my sisters' house so dropped it in on the way out this afternoon, she can use it with her granddaughter or the children she works with as a play therapist. I also left some bits and bobs from my crafting supplies including ribbons, trimmings and some textured fabric for a child she works with who likes to do crafting stuff and my sister is going to put together a crafting box for her.
I did move a few bits upstairs to be stored in a more logical place in the small bedroom so I won't forget it's there again. The rest is booked marked for a rummage this Sunday I think there is more stuff my sister can make use of for work. I'm volunteering the next two days so it will have to wait.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin21 -

- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Apologies for not coming back 🙊 Dinner just for DSis & I - roasted chicken drumsticks & mash for DSis, buttermilk chicken burgers, mash & beans for me. Wudupa

DH got home 00:30 as he came home on the bus 😉 Not too squiffy as he had eaten pizza as well as downing a few/many beers. Several people there some unexpected so he had a great time. I made him a bacon sandwich as the kebab shop was shut 😄 I have fallen further behind on the cheerleading but will make a concerted effort tomorrow. Sleep tight 😴

Good morning.
Tuesday washing the day Dniece comes to MILs. She works in a charity shop so I got out a load of clothes and made 3 binliners full and some other bits. DH was going to MILs anyway so asked him to ask Dniece to pop over and see what of it she would like. He messaged me as soon as he got there to say she wasn't there as on holiday. I did know that but id forgot. So now its all just sat in the middle of the room and that was my energy deflated.
Yesterday afternoon I've had to tackle the paperwork boxes as I've some forms to fill in and need some letters that I've no idea where they are.
2 of the big boxes that fit in an ik@a unit sorted through, it took hours and im not sure if have everything yet. Nothing from those drawers is on my list yet as its still in piles all over the living room floor.
Mechanic is coming out Wednesday to fix the car. Luckily it keeps starting intermittently and DH has made it to work and back in it but dont want to risk longer, unnecessary journeys.
Right better go shout some children and make another cup of tea.
