@ Muddy_Walker - This is the thing with Daxies. They have the most incredible sping in their back legs and especially if they have a 2 or more full stretch run before take off. It's like watching a flying super dog and boy can they reach some heights when they put their mind to it. A daxie would have no problem scaling a high baby gate with the right determination, so I can see how it would be possible for a daxie to get into a cot. Regardless, an animal having free unattended access to a cot is an absolute no, no at anytime - that is negligence.Good morning declutteriNo plans on the decluttering front today. The usuall HH bin basics with babyface having gone for an early morning walk at 5am followed by breakfast & then back to bed
The temperature dropped suddenly at 5.30am when it snowed for 15 minutes, so won't be doing much outside today
I've planned to declutter a couple of telephone calls but mainly cluttering up on bed rest and mugs of coffee for the day with a decluttering of parcels off to the postie this morning. I've got a couple of item that need pre-packing ready to be decluttered on Monday, but I'll do that later this evening or tomorrow. The Mr. Sains recycled packaging pile is reducing very nicely, but I think I'll need another flat box run at some sane point next week - I daren't turn over the diary page for next week as I know it's absolutely insanely chocker with appointments which I prefer to forget over most of the weekend
Wishing everyone a Smashing Decluttering Saturday and hope you all have a lovely peaceful wekkend if I don't pop in xxx Toodle-pip for now xxxxx

Morning all. Just a quick post before I head out to another meeting. Nice here so I will walk as only 10 minutes away. DGS1 is off to Greece this morning - I definitely envy him that. I contacted plumber to come and put new radiator on bedroom wall and disconnect two others. I have the vision of all manner of trades turning up together over the next few weeks.
345-7 Three bags of plastic to Co-op recycle bin. I have been driving round with them but several supermarkets did not have any plastic bins.
348 Plumber contacted and booked to replace bedroom 1 radiator on Thursday.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Good morning. I have read through but struggling to concentrate. Definitely need to book a doctors appointment Monday, hopefully just low iron. So sending love and hugs to everyone that needs them x
Not much done yesterday as DD1 came with the DGC in the morning. I did sort through all the rubbish from the boxes, just the shredding to do now.
The sun is back out and I've got washing to put on the line. The sun doesn't hit the line until half 10/11 at the minute because of the hedge so time for another quick tea.
Have a good weekend.

@Dizzycap - Hahaha thanks! Nah I'm banned from fire for eternity now. I got another quote and someone coming to uplift it all on Monday. I'll report in cos I'm counting that and the £180 it's costing me as a declutter. Jeez that's a lot of appts in one day! Yeah seems crazy doesn't it. Well done on the sales! That's such a horrid thing to have happened to that poor wee baby. I wonder how it even got near the cot if they already knew the dog was showing aggression? Family will be utterly devastated.@Muddy_Walker - Scary isn't it. When my niece and nephew stay I am on at them all the time about how they interact with my 2. They've got 2 tiny dogs at home and they manhandle them constantly it's not right.@MrsSD - I'm sure your oomph' will return. We sometimes just have times like that.@charlies_tribe - Lovely out today. I had the dogs out earlier and it was beautiful. Need to tidy up the back garden a bit so will do that when the sun makes it out there later.Debt Free - 4th June 202515

It's sunny here but with frost on the grass first thing so the indoor decluttering will continue rather than the ivy decluttering in the garden. On Thursday I collected ds from uni and he carried 5 black bin bags into the big charity shop for me. My declutter total from Thursday was 5 (not including the bags as I'd already counted the items in them).
I was in a good mood yesterday so I decluttered most of the ironing and hung anything for my wardrobes in the right place. I also did a wash load and dried and ironed/put away the clothes from that too. Declutter total for yesterday was 10 - 2 to the bin and 8 to the recycling. Today is still a work in progress.14 -
@ _Dolly_Rocker_ - Great work with sorting out the decluttering of your fence. Money well worth spending xx@ CRANKY40 - WOW some super sorting and decluttering you've done there
Keep up the great efforts xx
@ QueenJess - Well done for plodding alongIt's sometimes very difficult to keep the enthusiasm and momentum going which is when I find taking a day out and only doing basics helps. I could go on and on just keeping the house clean as there's always something need doing. After pre-packing 2 decluttering items ready to send off on Monday, I was away slinging the hoover around, cleaning my much used bedside cabinate, putting clean clothes away and so it's gone on and on because I've got to the point where everything has got to be put back in its place after a week of allowing things to slip due to appointments. I know I need to be resting but I won't be able to until I know I've caught up with what I wasn't able to do during the week - Vicious circle for me no matter how much I give myself a good talking too!
** I left mid-post to take babyface for another walk as she wouldn't settle after ball fetching and soft toy games, she's finally happy and contented now she's had a walk in the sunshine and had a couple of long runs back to me along the country path - See what I meanTime to declutter a coffee before I finally get around to decluttering my very small sewing task which I've put off all week.....

Gave my neighbour a packet of biscuits and a Fair Isle hat. Only dribs and drabs of decluttering but I will forget if I don't write it down here. It helps me to keep on my toes with it.
Deleted loads of photo's off my phone and all emails.
I knitted Paddington. Need to buy some black wool to add some features to the faces of the Izzy dolls. Started a grey and white baby jumper.
More house viewings arranged.
Hospital phoned, I have to have a 24 hour ECG, all booked in.
After some carrot soup I am going outside to have a bit of a tidy in the garden until it gets too cold!

@_Dolly_Rocker_ i couldn't remember who it was with the fire until I saw your last post. That would be me! I know without even trying id probably set fire to the garden. Ask DH, he regularly reminds me of the chargrilled pizza (I forgot about it, it'd been in 2 hours) burnt vegetables and the time I melted the chip pan to the oven 😂 then people wonder why he cooks.
@Dizzycap Thank you. I love reading about your pampered pooch. She definitely sounds like one spoilt puppy.
3 loads on the line. It definitely isn't as warm as it looks out there!
I tackled the drawer of Jigsaw pieces! Not sure why there was 2 watches and other random items in there but it has filled one of the red meat bags you get from t@sco. I was tempted to count each piece but didn't. I did weigh it though 1.7kg! Now how do I add that to my numbers 🤣
The drawer unit is now empty so will give it a wipe over in a bit, clean out the drawers and list it. It's an ik@a trofast so it should go quickly i think. I could actually Empty the one in the conservatory and list them both in suppose.
Right better go and do something else.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
