Quick post as no decluttering done today other than money. Up at 5.30 am and painted two walls of the bedroom - will do the other two tomorrow then a second coat ready for carpet on Wednesday. Then went to the Swedish shop with DS2 and DIL. Ordered wardrobes (delivering Thursday) and bought curtain rail, lampshade, bedside lights, kitchen lights, bulbs etc. Then popped to toy shop to get birthday gifts for DGS4 who will be 10 next week. My youngest grandchild (of 8) now in double figures. Went down to DS2's for delicious dinner that had been in slow cooker.
Tomorrow I will stay in all day to do some more painting and to complete some frogs. Reading along and sending hugs to all who need one.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Jellybaby- at last - a medical person who says Mr F is behaving strangely.
Doctor daughter came with her hubby - they both thought Mr F was vacant. I asked him an easy sum while they were here - he took ages and got it wrong.
I went upstairs to get changed out of my SA uniform and heard a crash.
Mr F had fallen in the downstairs cloakroom - he had headed for there as soon as our visitors left.
I couldn't get into the cloakroom as there was poo on the floor and up the wall - I had to reach in and clear that up before I could edge the door open slightly. I couldn't get in there well enough to get Mr F up on my own so called an ambulance - 2 hour wait. I got a phone call after an hour and was told to ask Mr F if he had had a seizure - he said yes - but is he just confused about how he fell. Mr F didn't know that he had pooed on the floor so maybe it was a seizure.
As Mr F had been trapped for over an hour - the call was put up to a blue light ambulance which arrived about 15 minutes later.
Two ambulance women came - the thinnest one squeezed into the cloakroom then had to move Mr F forward to open the door. They heaved him out into the hall and got him sitting - then to his feet - he was all over the place. They sat Mr F in his chair and checked his obvs - heart rate low.
Mr F has been taken to the hospital - I haven't gone - I am exhausted - pounding headache too. They said if they left Mr F at home - he would likely have another fall as he is unsteady. They will do bloods at the hospital which will see if there is an infection.

Thinking of you, @Florenceem. I hope the hospital will sort Mr F out soon, and that you are able to get some well-deserved rest xx15

@ florenceem I do feel for you and Mr F. Hopefully this time the hospital will not release him until proper care is in place. I hope they do all of the tests that they need to to get a diagnosis and that you manage to get some rest while they have him in hospital.
I have spent the whole weekend crafting. Been looking forward to it since Christmas but life seems to get in the way. Anyway over 30 cards made and I will be taking them to community club to price up ready for selling tomorrow. I managed to use up an awful lot of stuff and had a 2nd sort through supply's. I did buy some double sided sellotape but otherwise all stash and more space in the house. I also tidied up my card stock matching cards to envelopes. I threw out all of the trimmings ( which always seems to be more then when I started) so one quarter of a bin bags full and I had a lovely weekend.😊

Thinking of you and MrF, @Florenceem
Since my last post - which must have been weeks ago - I have decluttered a few more of my ancestors’ brick walls and also taken a small bagful of bits and pieces to the charity shop. This evening I sat watching old Bake Off and Repair Shop programmes, at the same time shaking out over a tray, then decluttering, large quantities of dried seed heads from perennial sweet peas, alliums, marigolds, aquilegias and honesty which have been taking up space in my utility room all winter. Time now to pot up the alliums and throw the rest of the seeds onto the narrow border alongside our shared drive, in the hope that they will give us some colour.

Lots of activity here and I think I'm on the correct catch up page@ Liverpool_Anne - you're doing just great at what you're managing to do. Phone calls are time consuming at the best of times these days, but I hope you manage to get the HMRC call out of the way. Hopefully, the lines won't be too busy
Go with the flow when your body gives you reminders to take it easier. I really hope your sleep improves
@ Mrs_Salad_Dodger - I'm still thinking about that tragic story, but saw all the daxie trates of insecure frustration. Small bite marks which Daxies do to soft toys when they have anxiety or pent up energy which needs to be relased. Young daxies need attention, which this one was, they're natural hunter hounds with high levels of curiosity & energy. Long walks don't always burn off their energy but running and crazy fruit-loops silly games can but may take 2-3 hours each day. Very difficult when looking after a new bornand especially if a daxie feels and knows it's not the centre of attention, which again, is one of their natural character traits. It's a very fine balance, but tbh, I wouldn't in a million years ever leave babyface, let alone any dog unattended with a baby or small child no matter how familiar they were with eachother. To me, it's common sense. That aside, even more tragic is that the parents of the new born are now potentially facing criminal negligence charges. Talk about 3 devastating blows
@ Florenceem - I'm so very sorry that you're going around another large exhausting circle & cycle with Mr.F's toilet marathons. Hopefully, your Dr. D can provide some insight, help & supportEnjoy the chocolate bars xxx
EDIT: I'm so very sorry to hear the events of today with Mr.F and him having to go to hospital. My thoughts & prayers are with you as you must be beyond exhaustion with it all.Decluttering Antics in the Mad House Update:All usual basics completed with a host of other catch up bits along with cuddly rests and sleep with babyface snoring her head off, taking pics and scheduling decluttering listings for later in the week, and all sold decluttered items packaged up in Mr. Sains recycled packaging ready for postie decluttering collection tomorrowFoxes fed and they've had a big belly full tonight xx Babyface had a lovely walk when she finally got out of bed followed by a big beef Sunday dinner, silly games, and lots of sleepy afternoon snuggles
I didn't get to visit Gorgeous Gorda today as planned because her new coat didn't arrive until late afternoon, so I'll make time to pop and see her tomorrow
I've been exploring the new outdoor laundertte again this evening which was in full flow! Not that I'm obsessed, honest, but babyface loves it as I have to press the info panel to find out the prices and then it starts talking and she starts vocalising back with crazy waggy tailDrying costs £3.50 for 15 minutes, so it's not too bad, I suppose.
Talking of CRAZIESA dear friend is sending me 2 talking, walking, waggy tal, singing plush mechanical complete with lead Daxies as Christmas gifts for babyface & Gorda - You have to see it to believe it & I can't stop laughing - Picture below
Last year she sent Babyface aso called 'impossible' feeder dish which sends dogs crazy trying to figure it out. Babyface looked at it for about 5 minutes and then proceeded to be able to work out button combinations to open the feeding flaps. All feeder flaps empty in 3 minutes flat!I did send my DF a Christmas day video of the event
Ooooooooooo I've just realised how late it is & Mr Swan seems a little agitated, so I'm off to take a look with garden fork in towbefore coffee & bed. Nighty, night all xxxx
