Yoshimi, love that shop, never buy much but everything looks so lovely.
Gosh Granny Kate ,you have been there 3 months already?
Vx:14 -
So I was supposed to be going for a small tattoo today. It's the writing from my 18th birthday card from my Granny who passed away a few years ago. Will rearrange but took me 6 weeks to get an appt!
Now that's been cancelled I've ended up with 5 dogs to walk in addition to my own - well it's money coming in isn't it!
Not the nice quiet relaxing day I had hoped for.@vulpix - Hope you managed to get your top adjusted. My Mum sent me down about 4 or 5 handwash sets so I'm the same. I'm the same with dresses - I never go anywhere!@Muddy_Walker - Luna is the same, she hates other dogs too but they are always approaching her and then moaning when she goes off on one. I've also head that rawhide is a killer, not something I would risk with my 2. I know a lot of people who give it to their dogs.@Brambling - Aw Fatcat looks and sounds just adorable with a large dash of mischief! Yay to the empty ottoman.@Liverpool_Anne - You got a lot done!@Dizzycap - So glad you've had a reduction in pain.@charlies_tribe - Well done on getting all that decluttered. Hope the car is sorted.@Jellybaby - Oh yes he owes you! I've not had one of those charity bags in ages. I'll just take anything I'm getting rid of too the CS.@Yoshimi2025 - That's still a good few things out. Aw I love Chester, not been in years.@GrannyKate - Will all be lovely when it's done. Can't wait to see the pics!@Willowtree222 - That is lovely!Debt Free - 4th June 202516 -
Nice to see you back jackieo, sorry about your lovely friend
Glad you got on top of a potential problem there florenceem
Gorgeous photo of much missed poppy, what a character
So much decluttering going on, loving that everyone is being so productive
I'm still ticking along. We managed to not declutter a beautiful huge deer that elegantly leapt out, luckily a good way in front of us, last night, glared at us and leapt back into the woods but my neck and shoulder is sore today so tiny bit whiplash I think
Hugs all round xxxx

I come back after a day or two and I struggle.
I just keep up with as much as I can.
A lovely bunch on here though so I love hearing what everyone's been up to.

Tuesday continued: I did make it to the P.O. & package sent. I think some of you might find the following a tad amusing: The lady behind the counter asked what was in the package & when informed it was a ball of wool, she asked if I knitted. After admitting that I did (all the while wondering where the conversation was going 😉) somehow I was persuaded/commissioned to knit a couple of baby bottle cosies 😂 Of course I have no idea how to do this 😥 After the P.O. I walked to the corner shop & picked up a couple of bits, then bus home. DH got back about 30 minutes later - disappointed that the Ferry crossing he had intended using was shut. DH cooked dinner - cheesy pasta 😋 Wudupa.
520 - 521 Kitchen recycling, plastic jar - recycled
522 - 524 Kitchen, lr & office detritus - binned
So instead of catching up on the cheerleading I spent the evening down the rabbit hole of baby bottle cosies 🤣 Who knew there were so many free crochet patterns but barely any knitting ones 😞 I finally managed to find one that doesn’t look too complicated so will start my unexpected project once I have caught up with the cheerleading.
Posting this & will start a new post for Wednesday 😉

Fairly quiet week for me so far. I think that I pulled a muscle in my side on Saturday so moving hurt a lot. I was fine if I sat still so mostly I did that.. I still managed some light decluttering though. The strange thing is that when my front hurts the "with me all the time" sciatica in my back and legs stops - I know that my front is almost better when my back starts hurting again. Anyhow......Monday was 10 things decluttered, on Tuesday I did the last two wardrobe drawers so 35 things and today I've managed 15. I'm done for today as I have other things that I need to do.
JackieO Sorry to hear about your friend and that you've been poorly yourself. I hope that you're well enough to enjoy your visit to family.
Florenceem lucky for MrF that one of you knew the correct diagnosis. Just a shame that it wasn't one of the medics 🙄
Yoshimi I have honestly been sitting here thinking that I haven't been to Chester for a while and wondering when the next trip will be. Probably May/June once ds has finished his exams. We do tend to head into Liverpool more.
Brambling Poppy looked lovely. My sister had a cat that weighed 17 lbs and her name was Kitten. My sister is hopeless at naming things.
Dizzycap you'd love my sister's house. She lives on land that used to be a farm belonging to her ex husband's late parents. I'm not sure of the total number of cats and dogs just now but there is a small rescue pony overwintering in the garage. My sister says that if anyone goes to the freezer which is also in the garage then they have to pay "carrot tax" to the pony. Her husband says that it's like living in a petting zoo 🤣

Good afternoon from a sunny & warmer London ☀️ A forecast high of 16°C & low of 1°C. Forgot to mention that yesterday I managed to get one load of washing partially dry on the whirligig but finished off in the td. So 2 loads of LDFPA. As the weather is so good I am finally getting around to washing & reproofing our motorcycle trousers (only been waiting since October ☹️) The only other thing I have done is put a new bin bag in the wheelie bin. DH has set off on his walk - not sure exactly where he is going but it involves finding the house where one of his ancestors was born 😅 Now settling down to blitz the cheerleading 🙂 Timer on & I am away …..

vulpix, This “I think he would be up for lawn mowing if it involved a sit on mower.” made me laugh out loud 🤣 just because your current garden is not ‘quite suitable’ 😉 Shame that nervous lady hasn’t come back to knitting group 😔 Sending get well wishes to Dog lady & hopefully she will soon be well enough to join you & ‘super knitter’ again 🤞Fingers crossed that you managed to sort out the new top at craft club 🤞Lovely cheerleading 😊 & pleased to hear that “MrV as a Forrest supporter is positively giddy at the moment.” - a long time coming 🙂 Remember - using up toiletries not only counts as decluttering but also as saving the planet 👏
Excellent work using up toiletries _Dolly_Rocker_ 👏 Using up face cream on your feet is definitely NOT cheating 😊 although I’d have been a bit concerned if it had been the other way round 🤣 so sorry 😞 Fingers crossed the weather stays fine for your planned washing of couch cushions 🤞
QueenJess, This “Some impressive using up there. Absolutely not cheating to repurpose things. It’s an MSE way of using things up; especially if it stops you buying something new or if you didn’t like it for the purpose you bought it for.” is very well said 😊
Excellent decluttering Florenceem especially the Die Cutting Machine 👏 I couldn’t quite believe This “I noticed that the skin on his right leg was shiny - she said - it was because it had just been washed” speechless 😶 Sorry to hear that you have even more funerals to attend - condolences 😢
_Dolly_Rocker_ the sunshine is so deceptive 😧 I do hope you managed to get warm at a steady rate - as you can do without getting a chill 🙏 Fingers crossed that the weather stays nice for Friday so that your Nephew can get the new fence put up 🤞
One page caught up 🙂 Need another drink & the wm sounds like it is almost finished ready for me to add the water proofing liquid & wash again. I hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 😊 Plenty of cwtches available 🤗🤗

Back again with a fresh drink & a bottle of fizzy water. Wm is chugging away with the waterproofing liquid & I have just finished the puzzles in yesterday’s newspaper which has been recycled 526. Straight back to the cheerleading
Muddy_Walker, loving all the doggy tales ☺️ Great work repotting your plants especially as it means you rescued them from greenfly 👏
Florenceem, the funeral could have been quite sad But the music choices sound like a lovely way to say goodbye 🥹 Sorry to hear that MrF is worse 😔 but well done on being both proactive & assertive 🥹 Hopefully now that MrF is getting some proper treatment he will start to recover 🙏
Such wonderfully supportive posts from retiredinfrance & Duchess2 🥹
London_1, very relieved to have you back 😮💨 Sorry to hear that you have been so unwell 😞 but pleased to hear that you are recovering even though it has been slower than you would like. Condolences on the loss of your long time friend 😢 I remember you talking about her & how much fun the two of you had over the years 🥹 Hope you have a lovely time this weekend & fingers crossed that you get to see a few of your grandsons 🤞Lovely to see you ☺️
Lovely chatty post Dizzycap 😊 What a hectic Tuesday but absolutely brilliant news about your improved eyesight 🥳 Absolutely loved This “Talking of age, a dear friend was telling me yesterday that she visits her 97 year old mum a couple of times a week in case she needs any help. The last time she visited, her mum said to her, "I don't need help! Help is for old people" 😆 - Bless her ❤️ Mind over matter xxxx” which brought back happy memories of my lovely MIL who used to go shopping for several ‘old’ people in the residential home she lived in - bearing in mind they were in their 60’s & she was in her mid 70’s 😂 Thank you so much for continuing to share ‘Tales of babyface’ as it brightens up my day every time ☺️ Pleased to hear that the swans are doing well 😊 I am going to have to give you a new name 🤔 how about ‘Swan Whisperer’ 😉 Hopefully having a rest from selling the contents of the Tardis Mega wardrobe of Doom will give you time to replenish your packaging supplies & admire your empty hallway 😉 as well as giving your postman a rest 😂
15:00 DH just phoned he is on his way back. He managed to get a photo of his grandfather’s house (1889) which is in Battersea 🙂
_Dolly_Rocker_, lovely cheerleading 😊
Brambling, thank you so much for sharing tales of Poppy 🥹 A lovely photo of your gorgeous cat 🥹 Surely you meant to say ‘mischievous’ rather than ‘naughty’ 🤣 Excellent work emptying the ottoman 👏
Another page caught up 🥳 Perfect timing as I can hang out the newly waterproofed trousers 🙂 I do hope everyone who has sunshine is topping up on their vitamin D 😉
