I decluttered a good few hours on the M6 yesterday as well. And then decluttered almost £10 on the M6 toll only to then come off it and hit more traffic.
I'll be decluttering DD tomorrow for a night. She rarely stays out so this is a very rare treat to have 24 hours with some free time!September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x19 -
- Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
- Concerted effort to sort out sleep patterns - Realistic targets: bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
- Continue dealing with mail & email on a daily basis
- Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
- Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday continued: DH & I left home at 14:00, still bright & sunny but so cold 🥶 Bus to CW - I picked up both pairs of glasses then had a little wander to find a card shop as needed a birthday card for DH’s sister. Bus home & arrived back 15:30 Late afternoon DH went for a walk whilst I cleared down more programmes from planner. DH had offered to make dinner so we had cheesy pasta. Wudupa. We are off to see DH’s sister tomorrow (her son & daughter are on holiday so missing their mum’s birthday) She requested hm fish pie for her birthday dinner, so DH & I have made that tonight - will just need 20 minutes in her oven.

Wednesday 10:30 is another bright crisp day but cloudy. Temperature is currently 5°C but feels like 2°C I am wrapped up in my fluffy dressing gown & settled with my first cuppa, so will have a session of cheerleading
Lovely to see you machasraven 👋 I think that what you classed as ‘2 frogs’ were in fact ‘2 Cane Toads’ 😥 Brilliant news that you have been given the ‘All Clear’ from the hospital 🥹 & congratulations on finally decluttering the ex 🥳 🥂 💐 Hopefully he will remove his stuff quickly & you can complete your decluttering & tidying 🤞Excellent work so far with the kitchen & bathroom 👏
Nice to see you Mrs_Money_Penny 👋 Excellent decluttering 👏 As you have already reached over 2,000 I am awarding you TWO Gold Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ which are on their way 🙂
Dizzycap, I will have to live vicariously through your reports about Foxy, the cubs & also the swan(s). I am loving reading about Mrs Swan & all her preparations 🥹 This “However, an attempted stealing of the swans eggs by some juvenile cretin in the middle of the night 😮😖 was also met with me and a garden fork 😆 along with recorded CCTV footage followed by full reporting and a hefty £15k fine for their parents - Nice! 😈 😆” had me cheering 📣 Pleased to hear that babyface had a bit of consideration for her ‘staff’ & allowed you to return home after half a walk 😉 Although I see that Monday was a babyface pampering day & she allowed you to have a sleep in the late afternoon 😂
A lovely cheerleading post sqwiffy 😊 rounded off ever so wonderfully with a lovely photo - DD1’s dog is very handsome 😊
GrannyKate, a very busy Monday 🤩 with an eclectic mix of decluttering 👏 Fingers crossed that the plasterer won’t find any issues in the 2nd bedroom 🤞I assume the gardening person will be giving you a quote for work to be done, so fingers crossed that it is reasonable & that work will start as soon as the weather picks up 🤞
Lovely post daisy_1571 😊
Lovely post vulpix 😊 Very pleased to hear that there will be no extra expense for your holiday 👏 Congratulations on the weight loss 🥳 definitely merits a medal 🏅 which is on its way 🙂
_Dolly_Rocker_ lovely cheerleading 😊 We ordered burgers & fries. I hope you enjoyed your chinese…. If you did order in 🤞
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 Shame the plasterer has had to delay his visit 😞 but I imagine it will be quite nice having the house to yourself for a while 😉
Liverpool_Anne, lovely cheerleading 😊 Excellent decluttering on Monday & Tuesday 👏 & what a bonus that your wardrobe declutter meant you have found forgotten clothing which has been brought back into use 🥳 especially as OH noticed 😉
Excellent decluttering Florenceem 👏 You always get so much done every day that you put me to shame 😉 So pleased to hear that you are treating yourself & it sounds like you will soon be getting back into crafting 😊
I have reached the end of another page so will post & run as I need to get ready to head off to Kent. We are leaving before 14:00 so we can hopefully miss the traffic & hopefully it will only take just over an hour to arrive 🤞 Hope everyone is having as good a day as possible & that you are all managing to stay warm 🙏

Wrapped sold items this morning and popped to SA to print labels.
I said to Mr F - shall I order new glasses while I am in town?
On the way to the post office I just thought that I would pop in the charity shop and ask about my glasses - we had phoned and were told nothing was found. I saw a woman that I know well - she said - items found on the shop floor are kept at the till where the phone is. I said my glasses were green and she asked - were they on a green cord - they were found in the stock room! I must have dropped them in a bag of donations I suppose.
I posted heavy parcels at the post office and a tiddler at the off licence. So decluttered a singing toy, a casserole dish, a blanket and a condiment set..
Went to get a bus home - the stop was not being served by buses as more road works. There was a relief bus that just took passengers to the train station where you could pick up another bus.
I have 2 items on Eb.. finishing today - hope I get more bids.
Grandson has been and I decluttered some £s - giving him spending money - he is off to Brighton with his girlfriend.
Just taken photos of another sewing machine that I am going to list.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@ Rootle - "a blow up bed and an amplifier returned to respective their owners" - Love it!
You've actually reminded me to have a look through one of my bookcases as I know I have a few books that need to be returned to their rightful owners, so a little return decluttering to do tomorrow - nice!
I haven't had a chance to catch up on the threads over the past few days as it's been a bit hectic in between continued decluttering, listing, posting, washing, cleaning, walking 2 babyfaces, dropping off items at the recycling centre on Monday, 4 drs appointments with more to follow this weekand trying to fit in good rest too! I still haven't been able to pick up more flat packed boxes from Sains but I will try to do that tomorrow. I need to clutter up on boxes to declutter items out of the house, so it's a means to an end
and hopefully soon!
eBy seems to be flowing with adding all the 'extra phoney charges for absolutely nothing' onto private sellers listings etc biggest mistake they've ever made as online shoppers are very savvy and private sellers decluttering their stuff have other non fee paying platforms to use
EDIT: Just after I posted this, I had a sale on eBy - now securely packed and posted on babyface's last walk this evening
Time to clutter up on a little dinner and a large cup of coffee before I tackle the bookcase for returnsWishing everyone a lovely peaceful Thursday evening - toodle-pip for now xxxxEDIT: I'm now going to list some more items to declutter out of the house whilst enjoying another cup of coffee~ NSD 2025 - NSD August 20/20 (8 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing - 1 x £25 Voucher Redeemed, 24 FREE Books of RM Stamps & Presentation Packs.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £579.80 / £2025 (4) 💯💯💯# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £16,543.30 / £12,000 💯 (8) - Continuing (-30p)17 -

sqwiffy pup is so cute
Today I posted a parcel, got a new bathmat (3 out), new set of scissors for general use (old ones into workshop for use out there) and oven cleaner for the weekend big oven clean.
I finished snipping the stairs - they look so much better without all the plucks.
I have sorted 2 shelves out in the kitchen loads out in the bin.
The bin is too empty but will be full by bin day“HUMAN BEINGS MAKE LIFE SO INTERESTING. DO YOU KNOW, THAT IN A UNIVERSE SO FULL OF WONDERS, THEY HAVE MANAGED TO INVENT BOREDOM. (Death)” - Sir Terry Pratchett15
