Hi everyone.
Sorry I've been missing in action.
I've just been keeping on top of housework, and the decluttering had ground to a halt.

Hey
I've been MIA these last couple of weeks due to life being so busy, work, home, being taxi to DS activities etc. But my garage is FULL of items for the tip and the utility room has a significant amount of items for the charity shop (though our local charity shop isn't taking donations at the moment).
I'm finding that I'm picking up as I go so if DS has left an empty bottle on the side in the bathroom I'll pick it up and take it down with me, whereas it used to sit there until the bathroom was cleaned. DS is also being reminded and shown how to move items that need to be binned or recycled, and also reminded about lights being turned off... it's sinking in slowly as he does not want to be interrupted every 2 minutes to come and correct the issueHe's a real good kid so can't complain

Air fryers - check see if by removing an oven shelf your air fryer will fit in the space ? I feel that's a sensible place to keep it since it is also an oven. Hopefully then the shelf will fit on the ground or on the highest notch

Do you know @daisy_1571 between that and your genius chain suggestion on Wattys diary, I have decided you are cooking on gas currently. Very much appreciated. Any chance of visiting me and making some helpful suggestions for the resident chaos?
Bin bags worth of clearance in each of the resident offspring's bedrooms. I binned tired bedding/fleeces and went and got them new fluffy ones which made me popular with them, and had the added bonus of diverting cats away from my bed. I do find that washing sherpa/teddy type things destroys the fluff very quickly, even if you line dry.

Grandson visited - Mr F is going to help him with the tax problem.
I carried on working on the velvet curtains. The heading tape is now on - next job is to do the hems.
I treated us to something different for tea - what I thought were shrimp tails - yuck - just a shaped crab stick stuff. Very disappointed.
I had a phone call from the sewing machine place about what colour cones of thread I wanted with my overlocker.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Evening everyone
I have been away visiting family - some hours were decluttered on the M6I have also decluttered all the C'mas gifts that I still had in my possession as I hadn't seen my family since last Sept! Brought a few presents home too but all nice gifts that I will use.
I've found someone who does 1:1 crochet so hope to start being more creative like many of the talented folks on here
Love to all

Seriously, I'm glad if any of the waffle I come up with is of any use to anyone and while I'd love to help with anything I can im sure you'd find me less amusing in person in your house- much more difficult to shut me off 😆
Daisy: business hours: any time I'm on here rather than getting on with my own tasks that I should be doing 😆

Thank you all
The ex will be back at some point to pick up the carp he left behind ie all his tools. I am restraining myself from sorting it all out so that whoever he brings with him will see the ROD he slept in and also they will have wade through all his stuff in the garage/workshop. I refuse to make it easy for them.
This morning I sorted the bathroom removing all the old towels and then vacuumed all the floor and nooks n crannys.
Did another 3 stairs - so satisfying.

Few more bits out for me today, seem to have lost my mojo a bit since being ill though. I see it's set to warm up over next few days, so am hoping that helps with it.
Good luck to all with your goals both big and small this week2025 in 2025- 2027/2025

Thank you for my star Mrs SD. Today I donated a new kettle bought when we thought ours was on its last legs ( it wasn't) to DD. They are living in the middle of a building site whilst their house is being renovated and extended and their kettle has decided enough is enough.
