sqwiffy said:@Grannykate - I'm still trying to figure out these clouds?? I had stuff in onedrive, and icloud. When I bought this laptop I did what they advised and bought Microsoft 365( i think ) since everytime i used word, i kept getting full up messages so should have some storage with that, plus Currys gave me 2TB free. They said to register it all on my old laptop and upload it but I cannot figure out how to see it on the new one. And I can't for the life of me see how they all work together or don't. And since this laptop has over 100GB I don't know why I needed all that anyway.......
You can also set your phone camera to automatically upload photos too.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Am awake as there is a new tom cat in the area (think he's a young one who's not yet been seen-to!) and he is singing to another in a neighbours garden to protect his territory. I am never certain if they're scrapping over my aging Tortie so have get up, go downstairs and reassure myself and then her that everything is OK!
Anyway, as I'm due to have some leak restorative work & also some decorating done, I have been slowly sifting stuff out... a pair of 90"x90" curtains that I won't use but was keeping for Justin, unused cushions, books I've read, some HFW recipe books I've never used, a fluffy hoodie that I don't like on me, quite a few items of clothing that I won't wear and a large shallow cast iron casserole pot that I no longer use.
I have also returned a spare laptop to work, sorted out the handbags in their trunk under my bed (3 to be donated, 4 for Vinted) and left food & pet bank bags at the s/m.
Finally, I decluttered a 4-figure sum of ££s for these...2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

@TC77 - think there will be lots of people on here who are more IT savvy than me. You mentioned the photos were on an iPhone and those are made by Apple which is why I thought your pictures would be on iCloud. Late DH spent ages trying to explain everything IT to me before he passed but I have had to learn more. My lovely brother helped a lot but sadly he has gone as well now. Teenage grandchildren are usually the best ones to ask for help. Late DH was one of the original computer geeks. He asked work to support him on a computing course some 40 years ago but they refused as the suggestion that computers would be on every desk and in every home was considered ridiculous. A shortsighted position to be in as time soon proved. Their attitude reminded me of the 1950s and 'far fetched' tales of a man landing on the moon. DH paid to do the course himself.
DS2 came back from his short break and popped in to see me and Sox. He spent an hour playing with the mad cat. I got a price for the first lot of fencing and removing some shrubs and a small section of wall to widen the drive to make it easier to park. I have asked him to do that. He is quoting for some other garden jobs but they may have to wait until more is done inside. Plaster is drying in bedroom so hopefully the coving and skirtings can be done later this week. I can buy some paint and order a carpet and furniture. I started cleaning the greenhouse but hose pipe is too short so need to get a new one. May do that today. Not much done yesterday after tackling lots of frogs.
277 Started cleaning greenhouse ready to use.

@GrannyKate, sorry my mistyping if said iPhone although I had to buy dd1s as even though not in debt other than student loan/ overdraft she didn't pass credit check.
As I put boxes and stuff back in dd2's room after painting I am in awe of all of those who have managed to move! And then even more where you've had lots to do!
Floss , envious of the windows and doors and hope they are keeping the house cosy. I've super draughty old windows.20 -
Thank you so much Brie and Floss, you are the best.
It sounds like Mr F is getting more like his old self every day.
It also sounds like no more shy Sox at your house Grannykate.
Lovely windows Floss and a great sort out .
Broke my favourite mug which was a gift. Shards everywhere like TC, had to get the hoover out at 12:15 am, sorry next door. Couldn't risk paws walking on any, and to further show I am staff to two exacting bosses, cat food which no longer pleases to the cat sanctuary collection bin.

DD is now back to normal and back to nursery today (typical when they are ill over the weekend!). Anyway, I have managed to use a number of things up and do a bit of decluttering whilst I am on my daily tidying missions. I will get there eventually!A few things in this week... packaging which I try to re-use and also an Easter egg kit (2nd hand) in the aim to try and make my own this year. Ironically keeps me on net nil things in/out this month. It's certainly making me think harder about what is coming in as I do think that's the first front on keeping clutter at bay. Need a small negative each month as I am expecting certain supplies to decline and not be replaced at the same amounts.I'm doing so well on the use up front that I think I'm going to add some additional targets for this year as I may need them! In theory using things up should wane over the year as I will have used up the easy things. I guess we shall see. If I can ever decline my pile of packaging without resorting to plan B of putting them on Buy Nothing for people's online sales than it might be a miracle! (I'm not adverse to doing that, but in my head, I should have so little coming in that the stash certainly shouldn't be getting bigger).Digital:

My cat is sleeping in the living room in a puddle of sunshine. It is still chilly, but lovely and bright.
I have to sort out the dreaded airing cupboard today as the new hanging handbag organiser arrived late yesterday. I am going to take everything out of there before I have a bath and then I will have to do it!17 -
Up early this morning.
I popped to SA to do some printing - yes - new printer is still in the box!
Came home and got parcels ready.
Took stuff to charity shop on the way to the post office. Posted the other parcels at the off licence.
Got the local paper - last in shop - it came out on Friday.
Got a bus home and popped in As.. to see what date was on the milk. They didn't have the milk I wanted so a NSD. The newspaper is a DD of Mr F.
I took some photos of items to list.
Now I need to go to SA to see if I left my reading glasses there. If they aren't there - maybe I left them in the charity shop. I am using my spare pair but the missing glasses are my new ones.
I heard that my dentist is going private - hope the rumour is wrong.
