89)-90) two more items sold on V
91)-92) lotions and potions x 2 decluttered back to the chemist for recycling
93) presents popped into the post yesterday, packaging used up aswell.
94) smart meter screen for in the house-recycling after the cats chewed through the cord and it refuses to work with batteries. Can get the same details up on my phone so easier for it to go.
Next box of neutral items are boxed up and ready to send. These go to a charity auction but have a few bags of items that won’t leave the house until October. When I did the Dun elm Bags of Joy two years ago it was a mix including things like craft things. This Christmas it was less about crafts and books but more about items to keep warm. Have been able to buy a lot of items cheap in the post Christmas sales, all stored in bags with zips but there are some summer charity items to go which will give me far more space and just neaten up some areas.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks MrsS_D and yes, I did manage to play the "hide the lentils" game and as usual they weren't noticed.16

Morning all.
@TC77 you have to delete photos on iCloud to get rid of them completely. It took me a long while to work that out after DH passed on. I try to go through mine at least every 6 weeks - to download to computer for storage or delete them.
Everybody seems very busy. I have had a very successful frog taming morning and I'm feeling quite virtuous. Sir Sox is going bonkers this morning - GCs aren't here so he wants someone to play with him. Late last night he was trying to work out how to get on top of the pelmet in the bedroom. I suspect it will fall down if he does manage to get up there.
269 Shredding done and out with paper collection Friday
270 Bag of plastics to SM
271-273 Three frogs for my committee role done and dusted
274 Stuff finished and sent for newsletter
275 Loads of stuff deleted from laptop - I download things to it but mostly they are duplicates of stuff on my main computer
276 Emails, downloads, junk bins etc all sorted on main computer. In box is empty!!
I still have a few frogs to do but 3 hours is enough in one go. Some birthday cards to write for early March.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Hi all, the last couple of days have been slow, Friday all I did was the union thing and some laundry and yesterday I spent a while sorting emails, 600 deleted and 1 LDFPA. Another union thing landed which I will deal with tomorrow as I am at the football today 😁. Last night I woke up very warm so I think the cold thing is still hanging around 😐.
I have done some work on my budget which is proving interesting 😂. I have a couple of frogs lurking which I will look at next week 😂.
@daisy_1571 that sounds like an interesting book. I recently read something that talked about sorting out your emotions before you start physical decluttering which seems to tie in with that and made a lot of sense.
@Florenceem good luck with selling the sewing machines and finally getting your new one set up and in use 😁.
@Muddy_Walker great going with the crochet, you'll soon be making all sorts of things 😁.
@mehefin that is terrible about the primary school, 2 classrooms and the ICT suite is pretty major damage and will probably take ages to replace. Good job they had somewhere warm to go to. My biggest fear of fire when I was teaching was when we were swimming, the thought of having to evacuate in wet swim wear was a nightmare. Luckily it never happened.
@Mrs SD beautiful flowers 😁.
@Soontobeoap I love beans on toast crusts 😂.
@GrannyKate plaster dust is the worst, just when you think it's gone it reappears and gets everywhere, hugs
@London_1 great result on the photo 😃
@CRANKY40 I always use lentils in things but OH is used to them now 😂
@Vulpix hope the visit to the garden centre went well and your voice is back, hugs
Right I have to get a wriggle on, hugs to anybody who would like one
221 - 226 600 emails permanently deleted
227 LDFPA
Take care everyone

That's lovely London 1.
A substantial amount of money raised there Florenceem.
I didn't know Simon Mayo still did confessions , nor did I know there were books. The giant baby must be in the books, he could hardly speak for laughing. The only other one I can remember was about some bored teenagers swapping peoples gates on the Isle of man.
Love the moving stuff stories. I sold a shed at the old house and 2 blokes came to collect it on a boiling hot day. (remember them?) They were taking it about a mile and a half away. They opened the door, got inside and half ran half shuffled off down the road! You could just see their feet and the bloke at the front had the door open to see where they were going. Bit risky as there are no footpaths on the road!
Thank you again basket case, lots of lovely yarn was delivered yesterday. I don't know where to start! I have gone from no stash to a sizable stash thanks to you and Mrs SD. It will keep us out of trouble for some time.
DD1 tells me I have laryngitis. She says it's just puffy vocal chords. It is a little better today. We had a lovely afternoon at the garden centre, I can't remember when we spent any just us two time together. Mr V stayed home mending an electrical thing he uses at work. I know, too detailed information! Today he is still fiddling with it and will then install the new telly. I will save the box,I have bought felt pens, all ready for toddler sitting duties.
Just had a parcel from Sports Direct. Got Jack Willis slippers originally £59.99 for £6 odd and a regatta hoody for similar. I'm not fussed about brands but the quality is great. Have a look at Sports Direct, they have a huge sale, coats for £5 etc. Loadsa kids stuff too.
I have had a copy of the letter sent to my GP about my recent shenanigans. The hospital I ended up at, miles away seems much more on the ball than the one Mr V had cancer treatment where they lost all the test results. Must say Not The Christie Hospital, they were faultless. If I am ever poorly again , I need to make sure I am near that hospital !
Anyway I am just putting off the remaining sewing up of jumpers, the worst bit of knitting.
Take care all Vx:20 -
I had a busy weekend with lots of eating out and I feel quite tired this morning. I ordered some things from Amazon this morning that are arriving today. I got some glass food storage containers and a hanging handbag storage organiser as I needed to sort out my kitchen yet again and my airing cupboard is shocking. I did my kitchen this morning. I went through the fridge and rearranged it all. I washed and cut up all the lettuce and put it on a paper towel so it is ready to grab for sandwiches. I'm going to batch cook curry, a pasta bake and soup tomorrow for the week. I have odds and ends of pasta, rice and noodles that need using up before I buy any more.
I will do the airing cupboard today depending on when Amazon arrives or I will do it tomorrow. I think I will get rid of spare bed covers as the only people that ever stay are my brother and his gf, but they might be getting their own place soon.
It is a fairly blah day here. It was very chilly on the way back from London last night. Apparently tomorrow is meant to be sunny.2025 GOALS

sqwiffy - hope the dog is okay. I remember Mr F's dog - was eating dinner one day with blood coming from his bottom - just an inflamed rectum. Nothing put Benji off his food.
GrannyKate - like most cats - Sox is ruling his domain.
Liverpool_Anne - I have a bid on the listed sewing machine so it will be leaving the house.
There are sales on V and Eb.. so 8 items in total being decluttered with cash coming in.
Yesterday evening - I persuaded Mr F to try having a shower - he was having strip washes as he said he couldn't lift his leg high enough to get into the shower. He was unsure about being able to stand in the shower too but - all went fine - I didn't even have to help him wash - I did stay in the bathroom in case he felt wobbly. So another thing ticked off - just need to get him out of the house! The temperature is meant to be rising this week so I will get him out in the fresh air.
Been to Church this morning.
Home and we have had our main meal of the day.

Sunday: managed to get up before noon 😉 DH was up & pottering about. It is bitterly cold - supposed to be 5°C but the forecast says it feels like 0°C - I don’t disagree 🥶 DSis has a wash load on. DH went out for a walk about 13:30
Dizzycap, love the sign 😂 Wow you were busy yesterday 👏 I am assuming babyface wasn’t very keen on going out in such bad weather so that her walks were probably quite short 🧐 & she got her exercise by ‘helping you declutter’ 😊 Excellent result from your listings - you obviously have the knack of pricing to sell 👏 One medal 🏅is on its way 😊
London_1, such a lovely ending - so romantic 🥰 & I agree with Duchess2 “Such a positive way for the internet to be used when you hear some of the horror stories nowadays.”
Lovely cheerleading sqwiffy 😊 Fingers crossed that after the stress of getting OH’s annual scan, the results will arrive quickly & be clear 🙏 Hopefully you got the technology issues sorted 🤞Sorry to hear about DD1’s dog 😔 fingers crossed for good news 🙏
Excellent decluttering Happy_Kitties 👏
CRANKY40, I keep forgetting to “hide the lentils” 😉 & as you say no-one ever notices 😅
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 & great work taming frogs 🥳
Lovely cheerleading as usual Liverpool_Anne 🥹 & some great decluttering especially the union thing & the digital decluttering 👏
Lovely cheerleading post vulpix 😊 I chuckled at your ‘very detailed description’ of what MrV was doing 😂 Sort of pleased to hear that DD1 has diagnosed you with laryngitis, hopefully the more you rest your voice the quicker you will recover 🤞Good luck sewing up the jumpers 😊
Wednesday2000, being out & about can be quite tiring so hopefully today has been a bit quieter 🤞Good luck with the batch cooking 🍀 & I hope that the Amazon delivery was at a suitable time to allow you to tackle the airing cupboard 😉
Brie, very funny 😁
Lovely post Florenceem 😊 Great work with the sales 👏 which will hopefully mean you will be using up loads more packaging 😉 Very pleased to hear that MrF is continuing to improve 😊
It has taken me this long to post as I have been catching up on episodes of Landscape Artist of the Year so have split my attention 🙊 I haven’t managed to pick the 3 shortlisted artists but with all 4 episodes I managed to pick the correct winner (but never the painting I like ☹️) DH managed over 7,000 steps - he went to Victoria Park. I had a chat with neighbour J who had just come back from a walk in the same general area 😉
DH & I will be making another HF meal together - chicken & mushroom pie.
I hope everyone has managed to stay warm today 🤞
