I didn't know Simon Mayo still did confessions , nor did I know there were books. The giant baby must be in the books, he could hardly speak for laughing. The only other one I can remember was about some bored teenagers swapping peoples gates on the Isle of man.

Another very busy day today with all the usual basic HH bin decluttering, hoovering, wiping surfaces along with 2 loads of washing all hanging out on the line in the lovely sun, and packing up 8 more sold items with 4 more pre-packed ready to declutter after tonights finished Eby auctions. A lovely large pile of decluttered items with decluttered recycled packaging
A total declutter into a horrid RM grey crate and beyond which is cluttering up the hallway and will definately be leaving by hook or by crook tomorrow by postie
- I'm almost through all the recycled packaging I picked up last week from Sains
Will have to do another run on Tuesday
Babyface has had 2 long walks today one at 6.30am and another at 10.45am. She's had a big Sunday beef dinner and is snuggled up snoring her head off in her clean fresh thick fleece on her beanbag - That's the life!babyface2 went for a 2 hour workout this afternoon and was as norty as she could be to begin with until I just totally ignored her, which she hated, and decided she got attention when she was behaving herself, so that's that sorted!I've got a day off from walking babyface2 tomorrow as she's going to have a full day of day care, whatever that is?!
I've managed to list another load of items late afternoon ready to hopefully leave the house at some point after the half-term break onwards, but would love to be proved wrong and everything goes next weekThe most precious part of today is, I've spend 2 hours with babyface packing and pre-packing items which she absolutely loved doing and I also managed to rehome a gorgeous ginger brown 10 year old Dachshund with a neighbour who is a total whizz with rescue animals and who needed a new companionall within 2 hours of receiving a phone call from the Vet. I will be picking gorgeous 'Gorda' up in a weeks time to come to her forever home 4 doors away
- I see I'm going to have my hands full
Rest doesn't exist today but it's been worth all the chronic pain and fatigue as there's been an abundance of joy, but I will have to have a PJ day tomorrow with as much rest as I can manage.
Right, off to declutter another cup of coffee before I watch some comedy with babyface in bed xxWishing everyone a lovely evening & hugs to all that want them xxxxx~ NSD 2025 - NSD August 20/20 (8 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing - 1 x £25 Voucher Redeemed, 24 FREE Books of RM Stamps & Presentation Packs.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £579.80 / £2025 (4) 💯💯💯# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £16,543.30 / £12,000 💯 (8) - Continuing (-30p)19 -

@GrannyKate thanks for info on
the cloud, I'll check although won't be icloud as no apple things.
Feeling v tired and abit overwhelmed. Had blood tests which are all fine so think its just too many things going on.
Have put some things back in DD2 room and told her some are in boxes as she may want to sort things out. I remember when she was about 8 she took everything out of her bedroom and put in the living room and only wanted to put what she wanted back. Drove me mad at the time but I should have followed her example and encouraged it!
A few small bits out, some packaging, and took pillow, cushions and jars to donation hub. On friday I dropped off posh trews and a pillow to the CS (they recycle the pillow )and they gave me loads of their bags to refill as I've taken so much each week.
Today went through summer clothes as going away in abit and think there is much that can go but will do at Easter. Bought a new to me fleece at the CS with zip pockets, but quite bright blue, and borrowing a pair of DD2s trousers which are khaki, and bought a cross body bag at Lewisham market for £2 lime green and borrowing DD2s smaller ruck sack which says teen (in small letters down the side) and its bright turqoise with orange straps! Hope my friend won't disown me, but will buy things when away. DD2 has a much bigger one from her scouting days. Happy to lend me things which is cool.
Washed hair brushes.
DD1 brought back the little chair and table I gave her - disappointing as now sure where they will go. DB staying in Tuesday so may offer him these and other things.
Have busy work week and frogs with Easter being a declultter focus. Watching too much on the screen but as I focus on a few bits of the house being warm I think of it as natural hibernating.
Sending some oaty biscuits, carrot cake, earl grey tea and fresh coffee to the TLC carriage

DSis dropped some bits off to the CS on Friday. We did end up coming back with things from the CS however (or will when they arrive on Weds).DBro1 had commissioned us to find him a new chest of drawers with deep drawers. He will soon be the proud owner of a 6 large drawer chest of drawers fitting the commission. It needs a bit of love as it has some slight water staining on its top but nothing a light sand and some wax won’t sort. It also means he can replace his current chest of drawers which are less than ideal.DSis and I have been looking out for a bistro set for the garden and on the same day in the same shop (and not yet priced) we struck lucky. This was the same shop I got the bargain £5 desk drawers the other week.
The total for these drawers, garden set and delivery was a very MSE £123. It solved two needs for us, gave valuable funds to a charity close to our hearts, saved us money and are the sustainable options so feeing very pleased all round✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Florenceem - Isn't it great when more goes out than comes in? You've actually reminded me with your "2 Daily Bread booklets" to drop off a couple of magazines I have been saving for a neighbour, so thanks, i'd forgotten about them and something else to declutter tomorrow xxflorianatwobob - Well done with the 2 purchases
Certainly a good means to a good end and it's a great win,win for everyone
I love that kind of '2 birds 1 stone' shopping, not that I do much, if any, furniture shopping anymore
Time to declutter another cup of coffee before heading back to bed, so wishing everyone a peaceful night xx~ NSD 2025 - NSD August 20/20 (8 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing - 1 x £25 Voucher Redeemed, 24 FREE Books of RM Stamps & Presentation Packs.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £579.80 / £2025 (4) 💯💯💯# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £16,543.30 / £12,000 💯 (8) - Continuing (-30p)18 -
@Florenceem - Well done in getting Mr F in the shower. His confidence will improve with each task achieved and he will feel more independent. Plus you will have time for other things. Win, win.@Grannykate - I'm still trying to figure out these clouds?? I had stuff in onedrive, and icloud. When I bought this laptop I did what they advised and bought Microsoft 365( i think ) since everytime i used word, i kept getting full up messages so should have some storage with that, plus Currys gave me 2TB free. They said to register it all on my old laptop and upload it but I cannot figure out how to see it on the new one. And I can't for the life of me see how they all work together or don't. And since this laptop has over 100GB I don't know why I needed all that anyway. I think I need a computer expert, so maybe one of my teenage GC will help me one day! As long as this laptop lasts me for another 10 years I won't complain. I bet it won't as nothing is built to last anymore......@Mrs SD - Been trying to do some of your six points and it's looking much tidier in here! We have a Victoria Park too.@Dizzycap - so busy there! You are a doggy person and it looks like you are doing a lot for them. How kind! My DD1's dog has been able to come home today after 2 days of pumping him with fluids. He has stopped bleeding and temp back to normal so the vet thinks he's okay if still delicate. Cost of two days stay £600+ !! I think the insurance should pay. I must find a photo of him as he's gorgeous. We have him somedays when DD1 can't take him to school.Have enjoyed a lovely weekend with OH and no need to go to DM's as other DS's and a DN covering.Decluttering today - a few more books, 8 pairs of 3D glasses ( we've only ever used them once, no clue why we had so many?), more toiletries, and out of date medicines, managed to salvage some old tableclothes which seemed very stained but got them clean. I may not keep them but at least now they look good to give away. Another soaking as we speak. Cleared some old food from freezer. Cleaned out fridge and threw out all out of date jars. 12 pairs of shoes to CS. Frogs jumping out here and there but can only cope with so much tech at a time!TrialTrying different methods of decluttering..... Random at present but not very organised.20

sqwiffy - So very sorry to hear about your DD1's dog. I hope and pray he gets back on his feet soon xxx Vet stayin's are very expensive but sometimes they are absolutely necessary. Pancreatitis is one of the most common causes of bleeding and extreme pain in dogs which can so very easily turn into something even more serious if not treated quickly
Caused by too much 'fatty' rich food in the diet. The more plain & simple the diet, the better
I do love dogs but I'm an animal lover in general and will do & help as much as I can. I have yearly nesting swans at the bottom of the garden, so I have to leave the bottom 3rd leading onto the river wild for most of the year along with piles of logs and tree branches for nest building in early Spring. I've also got my hands full with foxes, geese & garden birds, especially during this very cold snap. Foxy came to the front door this evening asking for his dinner early, which I always put out in the back garden, so I tell him I'm coming, and off he goes around the back to collect food parcels I make up for him to take back to the den, and then a second large dish which he knows is all hisIt's a real house of love, demands, and comedy here!
I've just realised it's 2.30am so it's time to make a cup of coffee and head back to bed for hopefully some more sleepNighty, night xx
