sqwiffy said:@Dizzycap - that sounds idylic in your garden! I have a very small city one but I did have a fox with two cubs hidden behind shrubs once as I don't like it to be too tidy, and my neighbour and us have a hedgehog hatch for them to go between our gardens. That sounds something similar to what DD1's dog had but he's on the mend. He came home and ate a little yesterday. Here's a photo of him in his Christmas outfit from a child in school as he's their well being dog. See how handsome he is!@Floss - thanks, I'll try that with 365. I was too busy today, preparing for a committee meeting, making dinner for us and my DN (invited for a break as she's worked every day since Christmas), cleaning, shopping and dealing with frogs. I got a lovely phonecall from a lady from the council apologising for the confusion of different staff sending conflicting letters and information to me. That rarely happens! Lovely doors by the way!@TJH1412 - sorry you've been poorly, glad you're on the mend.@Florenceem - Oh no, you need to find those glasses. They are not cheap!@Mrs SD - always enjoy your posts and spend a while trying to decipher the initials!@ Happy Kittie's - don't you think all these gadgets, like egg separaters are just extra unnecessary things? My hubby is always buying them!@machasraven - Wow, decluttering an ex is a hugh achievement, declutterexcellentte! Well done. My DS2 was given a property as a settlement and he'd left rooms full of rubbish like broken bathroom fittings, etc, for her to dispose of.Isn't he just gorgeous!
Gorgeous eyes and the 'I know I'm handsome' look!

DH went out for a short walk (15:00) which ended up being about 90 minutes. I have gone through my iPad photos deleted about 50 or so. Window cleaners turned up both wishing that the weather was at least 10° warmer 😕 DH ordered in as I couldn’t be bothered to cook 😉 Wudupa

@sqwiffy What a lovely dog .
I went out and spent some money yesterday on a longer garden hose. I bought quite a posh one with wheels on the stand so it is easier to move around. Much too cold to start cleaning the greenhouse though. Garden person coming this morning and I have history meeting this afternoon. I need to sort out a frog for Friday week. DD staying over for two nights which will be good. Plasterer back Thursday to do coving and skirting board. He will also repair porch ceiling which electrician had to make a mess of in order to fix light.
278 Shredding done
279 Banking updated
280 Plastics to SM
281 Bag to CS
282 Train ticket purchased for this Friday for conference. Cost will be refunded. First part will be a substitute bus - hope it's more organised than my post Christmas trip was. No trains all of half term week - who plans these things?
283 Stripped wallpaper in bedroom 2 except the areas behind furniture. Want plasterer to have a look at walls in there to see how best to tackle them. Luckily the walls don't seem to be anything like as bad as the large bedroom was.
Only just woke up so I'll get a shower and dress.
ps Gardening person came before I could get dressed so put coat on over PJs. I'm sure my pjs are more respectable than some things people wear out these days.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Machasraven, well done on decluttering those two things, top work.
Sqwiffy, beautiful dog, good to hear he/ she is on the mend. I have had 2 labradors, a black one called Jet and a chocolate one called Rolo. Such lovely natured dogs.
I forgot to say, we have been given an air fryer by Mr V's work. Used it the other night for the first time. yeah,it's ok, just a small oven really. I will have to rejig the only cupboard it will fit in. I don't like loadsa stuff on the worktop.
Ate a frog and phoned our annual travel insurance broker to inform them of my stroke. Result , no extra to pay but phone again when we book another holiday. Only 6 weeks to go, can't wait.
I have decluttered 7lbs. Loins girded to try to lose another 7 before the holiday. Edited to add,not counting the flapjack and biscuits I have made supposedly for Ds's family. You have to quality control don't you?
Used up some "baby"paper from stash to wrap Dobber babies jumper. Went with French navy and white broad stripes in the end.It looked fresh.
Can't type quickly or accurately of late so gonna call it a day.

@Florenceem - That's not ideal about the glasses, hopefully they turn up somewhere. I really wish I had learned to sew, knit, crochet - anything creative really. I am hopeless at it. Also have no time at all in between my 2 jobs. One day I'll have the time to learn.@machasraven - Nice to have you back. I decluttered my ex a couple years ago, was really hard at the time but honestly was the best thing for me.@Mrs_Money_Penny - Wow that is lot of decluttering!@Dizzycap - Jeez I would love to have all that going on in my garden! You are amazing.@sqwiffy - What a gorgeous pooch!@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - Oh what did you order in? Think tonight I'll have a chinese, been wanting one for ages.@GrannyKate - Your making me want to get my behind in gear and sort my garden out. It is a mess. I'm going to order in some equipment and start a little at a time. Never had a garden before so I am a novice when it comes to these things. Also Luna my collie is a digger, just aswell she's cute!@vulpix - Amazing job on the decluttering the 7lbs!Debt Free - 4th June 202517

Hi all, slowly getting back into gear. Sunday not much done as I was at the football but yesterday I got 4 LDFPA, 2 from the maiden and 2 line dried for the first time this year. It was cold but a brisk wind and some sun 😁 same today so I have another load on the line now and another load swishing. I also did the rounds of the recycling bins so the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen recycling emptied. We went out for tea last night with ln to our favourite Greek restaurant which was scrummy so while washing my hair before hand I managed to empty 2 bottles of shampoo of their dregs so they have been recycled too. I have a pump action dispenser for shampoo that I decant into but the dregs get left to stand top down to be used first and OH always ignores them contrary to instructions 😂 . I wore a jumper last night that must be 20 years old and OH said where did you get that? From my wardrobe I said 😂 , now it has been mostly sorted I have found quite a few things that haven't seen the light of day for a few years but I still like and they are much easier to find now 😂, still a few things to try on but getting there 😁.
@Florenceem you seem to have caught the selling bug 😁well done. Hope the glasses turn up. I think if your dentist goes private they have to find you another nhs dentist if you request it. I seem to remember this happening when my dentist sold his practice in the city centre, luckily he had another practice that was still nhs in the suburbs that I transferred to. Might be worth a phone call to the dentist to clarify what is happening.
@Squiffy I have a few tech frogs as well but am currently ignoring them until my head is in the right place, though I think I will have to do battle with one today unfortunately 😁. Not sure if my new laptop is set up to deal with a particular form I need to fill in for a union thing 😏.
So glad the parcels of yarn have been delivered, what an absolutely fantastic place this is 😁.
@Dizzycap what a lovely place your garden is, glad the swan eggs are so well protected, I bet those parents got a shock 😁. I only have the wild birds and frogs in my small garden but I do my best to look after them 😁.
@Mrs SD forgot to say I should get an email on Thursday about the ballot for the tickets. If I am successful I will then have to go through another rigamarole to buy them online on Friday 🙄.
@machasraven the best thing I ever did was to declutter my ex but it did take years so well done 😁, onwards and upwards.
@Vulpix I have refrained from getting an air fryer for just that reason, no where to store it, even though my sister loves hers 😁. Well done on the weight loss, I have not checked my weight recently but I should do it soon 😂. Good result on the travel insurance, I bet you are getting quite excited about your holiday now 😁.
Right the washing has finished so going to sort that out.
Hugs to everyone who would like one

Tuesday: Bright & sunny but oh so cold 🥶 with a forecast high of 7°C feeling like 2°C & a low of 0° I was up & dressed just after midday. Straight into cheerleading:
GrannyKate, your late DH was definitely a forward thinker 😊 Sounds like Sir Sox is training his ‘staff’ very well 😂 Excellent work dealing with frogs 👏 & fingers crossed that the plaster dries quickly & the decorating can commence by the end of the week🤞
TC77, sorry to hear that DD1 didn’t pass credit cheque 😞 Now that DD2’s room is decorated hopefully she will come home & make a dent in the decluttering 🙏
Lovely cheerleading vulpix 😊 Such a shame about your favourite mug 😔 any chance it can be replaced 🤔
QueenJess, pleased to hear that DD is fully recovered but as you say “typical when they are ill over the weekend!” However it does sound like you still managed to get quite a lot done especially ‘using up’ 👏 Will DS & DD be helping with the Easter Egg making?
Tjh1412,sorry to hear that you have been so unwell 😔 It does sound like this year’s ‘lurgy’ is particularly nasty 😷 Good luck with the car-boot sale this weekend 🍀 I am polishing the next gold star 😉
Dizzycap, what a busy morning you had yesterday 👏 I do hope that you got some rest in the afternoon 🙏
Wednesday2000, hope the airing cupboard sort out went well yesterday 🤞& that you managed to declutter a few bits 😊
Excellent decluttering Florenceem 👏 Good luck with your new listings 🍀 I have everything crossed that you can find your reading glasses 🤞 & also that your dentist remains NHS 🤞
_Dolly_Rocker_, the pie was delicious 🤤 The reason we have 2 providers is twofold: we wanted to keep our email addresses but our original provider was a bit slow (with 3 people using the internet) so as Community Fibre were offering faster speeds & better coverage DH bit the bullet 😉
Happy_Kitties your cats are certainly determined to help you declutter 😉 I suppose the egg yolk & white separator sieve ‘could’ come in handy if you were making meringues every single day of the week 🤨 😂
I have caught up a little but need to get ready to go out as I do need to pick up my new spectacles. Hope everyone is having as good a day as possible 😊 see you later 👋

I was up early today - sunny but cold here.
I worked on the curtains before going to catch a bus to the Doctor's surgery for a blood test. I am praying that I don't have diabetes as I have a sweet tooth. My Dad had age onset diabetes and he loved sweet things.
I shopped on the way home - done over 6000 steps so far.
I took a bag of soft plastic to Ald.
Freegler collected the paper pads - I left them in the porch as Mr F can't open the door.
Nurse came and took blood from Mr F.
Had our main meal.
Grandson is booked to come round this afternoon with a tax question.
Before I went out this morning - I spent £1,499! I have ordered an air threader over locker which matches my new sewing machine in make/model design.
