Just a quick check in as I spent a couple of nights nursing DD so am knackered. She of course is better and bouncing off the walls! Ran around doing all the chores this morning so I could lie down this afternoon for a couple of hours.Lots of items in this week - swim vest for DD (Buy Nothing), dress for DD as she's desperate to dress up as a fairy, 1 lot of packaging to be used and 2 baking trays as mine are literally falling apart (bits flaking off).Digital:

Saturday: back to being overcast & dull with a forecast of rain - high 6°C Low 2°C. DH phoned his DSis - a longer call than usual 😉 I have read my magazine & passed it on to DSis but done nothing else. Started raining at 16:00.

Dizzycap, sadly not up early just going to bed late 🙊 Sorry to hear that you are not getting any sleep due to chronic pain 😔 I do hope you managed to get some sleep when you went back to bed 🙏 Love the ‘picture you painted’ of babyface 😊
vulpix, DH orders through Interflora & we have had the same chap delivering for years from a florist that is fairly local 😊 They have never let him down so obviously have a good supplier 😊 Very pleased to hear that you have almost finished the knitting 👏 as I believe you are delivering Dobbers jumper tomorrow 🤔 Not sure I could go on cruises 4/5 times a year as I think I would miss my own bed too much 😂 Hopefully your keen knitter will/has learned purl stitch now as I imagine it might come in handy as she is knitting a jumper 😊 Thank you for These lovely stories “Me n Mr V have been there too many times ourselves. Coming home from Epping Forrest springs to mind. I bought an oak door off ebay. We couldn't get it in the car, on the roof, we tried all ways. In the end we had to have it hanging out the back with the door open and the alarm going off all the way home. We did play Bat out of Hell album full blast to try and drown it out! or the time I bought a bookcase and it had to be tied to the roof and I had to hold it still with my hand freezing off all the way home, then climb out of the window Dukes of Hazard stylee. The time he broke the car windscreen trying to put DD1's sofa on the roof.” especially the underlined bit 😅 + good choice of music 🥳 Pleased to hear that your voice is starting to recover 😊
Good luck with your listings Florenceem 🍀 That is a stupendous amount of money that you earned from V sales for SA 🤩 C must have been absolutely delighted 😁 Sounds like MrF is definitely getting better wanting 2 extra pairs of slippers 😉
QueenJess, sorry to hear that your DD has been unwell 😔 I do hope you have managed to get a couple of hours sleep this afternoon as hopefully MrQJ was looking after the children 🤞More great decluttering 👏
DH will be helping me make dinner tonight, an Hello Fresh recipe for meatballs. Hope everyone is managing to stay warm & dry & has had as good a day as possible 🤞 See you later 👋

Oooh @vulpix, Simon May's confessions took me back a bit. I had the books too - the first one was the funniest, the second one was scraping the bottom of the barrel a bit.
@Dizzycap - your babyface sounds so cute ❤️
I've had a quiet day today as I think I've pulled a muscle in my leg so I thought that I'd give it a rest. I did have to sweep the kitchen floor though when the lid came off the red lentil jar when I was trying to stealth add them to this evenings bolognese. Serves me right for being sneaky.
I found 5 items to declutter fairly easily today so I haven't had to open any drawers or try to identify rogue cables (we have a drawer full of those) or do anything else complicated.18 -
Simon Mayo still does his confessions Mon-Thurs on his Greatest Hits Radio drivetime show.
@vulpix the 1st ex-husband once trundled a sofa home from IKEA on one of their trolleys (we lived less than a mile away from the first one), and he and my brother once "walked" a wall unit from our house to his via a country park & canal bridge!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Won’t last long lol.Hope everyone is having a great weekend xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Florenceem - I invested in a daylight lamp which also has a warm mode and a mixture of the 2. It works wonders at night, as can imagine. When I can't sleep I use it for doing something artistic. Card making, a jigsaw, taking pictures for listings and the best thing is I charge the lamp from a USB charge pack so I don't use any electric during the night, I just recharge the USB pack via the laptop during the day when I have it on:-)On one of my early moring walks I came across this sign:
- Says it all, really!
It's been another very cold, wet, and snowy day along with being very busy. I've listed a load of items for sale and packed up a few ready to declutter off to postie on Monday with another load to pack tomorrow night. I might have to go on another supermarket flattened box scout mid week next week as I'm already halfway through the load I picked up last week, which is very encouraging as I know things out of the mega wardrobe are being decluttered and leaving the house to go to a new home. However, I did feel like a bag lady when I was in Sains last week with a trolly almost full of flat packed boxes. It looked like I was collecting boxes to build a shelter of some kind and to make it worse, everytime I go out with babyface I have a large full dolly trolly and/or bag with me, so it looks like we've either been sleeping rough somewhere or lookign for somewhere to stay for the night
I have to admit though that the mega wardrobe bedroom looks like a charity shop with all the items out ready to photograph and re-organising so that I can find them quickly and pack when they sell. There is a sound method to what appears to be utter madness in that room at the moment and more importantly, babyface is having a whale of a time helping me to find things and pack them! Nothing like a daxie helper with a daxie backside hanging out of a black bin liner or box somewhere!I'm going to have an early night tonight and will be going to bed after I've declutter this cup of coffee. Last night I just got into bed, switched on my comedy and the eBay sold cash register notification went crazy - I couldn't believe it! Tonight I'm putting my phone on silent before I go off to bed"Sorry out to lunch"
It's 9pm and I'm going to love and leave you all. Hope everyone has a lovely peacful evening, and as always, love, hugs, and prayers to all xxxx Toodle-pip for now

Hi Chums been really busy for several weeks as RL gets in the way sometimes.
I don't know if you remember I found a wedding photo is a CS paperback dated 1971 with a picture of a young newly married couple on it in Wales and the address on the back after a lot of posting on FB and various sites I finally had a reply from a lady in Cardiff and the photo is winging its way to the somewhat older couple tomorrow apparently although they are on FB they don't check very often and the lady who messaged me said she is a friend of theirs so Happy Days this 1971 wedding photo will be with them by Tuesday at the latest
How it ended up tucked in a paperback book in a charity shop on the IoW I've no idea but thee wonders of the internet means after being missing for 54 years its going back to the couple who are still alive and kicking and apparently still very happy Job done so my decluttering today was one wedding photo
Onwards and upwards chums

Ahhh what a lovely end to the story @London_1. Warms the cockles. Such a positive way for the internet to be used when you here some of the horror stories nowadays. Funnily enough I was only thinking we’d not heard from you lately and up you pop. Hope your RL events weren’t unpleasant16

@mehefin- terrible about the fire but thank god no one was hurt. That's going to be a nightmare for the children and staff.@Florenceem- I see about your machine's now. You should be able to sell your computerised one as they are very expensive. We never know when nurses may come so it's difficult to plan anything. That was serious money from V, lucky C !@soontobeoap - Your post made me smile. Well done for being so frugal. I got a very good valentines meal deal at ASDA's and it was enough to share between me, my OH and DM, wasn't very romantic but I was with people i loved!@Dizzycap - No, that was unbelievable and so lucky! Happy printing.@London_1 - cute story.Sending fingers crossed for those needing to get moved. Sending virtual hugs to those in pain and snores to those needing sleep!Today I took OH for his annual SCAN to make sure he remains cancer free. Was a bit traumatic as the mobile hut wasn't in use as expected so we had to get back to the car, drive to another car park and race to his appointment - not easy as I had to find a wheelchair and push him as it was too far for him to get there on his crutches. Managed with a minute to spare! While there our DD1 rang in tears as her dog has had to stay at the vets after pooing blood. Hoping to post better news soonI decluttered the linen cupboard and a shelf on my coffee table, a mug, some books and children's scissors and lots of emails. I tried to sort out some technology issues but gave up! Tomorrow's another day though.......TrialTrying different methods of decluttering..... Random at present but not very organised.19
