Trading 212 Cash ISA - Impossible to transfer ISA out!

    I submitted my form with IG last weekend. On Monday they sent an email saying they'd sent the documentation off to T212

    Still not heard anything from T212
    When you say "submitted" do you mean postal or electronic ?, looking at that timeline I should have heard from Santander by now.

    In my experience, it varies, even within the same companies.Sometimes they tell you when they have submitted the transfer request, sometimes the old ISA provider notifies you, sometimes you hear nothing for weeks. Sometimes the transfer completes within 2 business days, too - though this seems to now be the exception.

    Thanks for the feedback, just wanted to check as this is my first ISA transfer, I will stay patient then.

    Has anyone had the issue, when it comes to the request from T212 to approve the transfer, that the balance shown is incorrect - for some reason it shows the balance from around a month ago (a couple of weeks before the transfer was even requested). My form clearly shows to transfer the full amount. An agent on T212's chat told me it needs a 'transfer specialist' to look into it.

    Thanks for the reply. The problem is, had T212 told me that, it would be fine, but they have told me it needs a 'specialist' to look into it, so there's no way I give them the ok to transfer the lower amount and be sure the full current balance will move over.

    If you look at the emails sent from T212, beside the agents name it may say ' customer care hero'. These staff seem quite limited in knowledge about ISA transfers as far as i can see.
    If it says 'Transfer operations specialist' they are the ones you need to communicate with.
