Why is no one dazzling / jumping off the page on the easy access when yields are rising and BoE forecasts adjusting accordingly?
Come on Skipton, save all that Members Bonus Saver money (albeit £5k pp max) from exiting… you know you want to…

In my experience there is a delay of an hour or more before your new account will show.
I couldn't see a way to open the new account and close the old one and transfer funds at the same time. I forgot to do the transfer until reading this..... doh.

Interestingly, Moneyfacts had the min deposit @ £1,000 when launched this morning - now changed to £10. Even better and definately open to all @ £10 min deposit 🤗.
I did have some issues with the Spring / Paragon APP this evening after sign-up. Mainly due to having to accepting cookies at App launch and through the link your bank account process, which crashed, but completed. I simply cleaned out the browsing history cookies on my phone iSOs and then rebooted my phone - Works like a dream now and I've found that you can divide the Special Edition Easy Saver into savings pots 🤗.

With a huge competitive push on Fixed rate Cash Isa's and Bonds at the moment, no one seems interested with competing on higher interest rates on easy access accounts. The same is also true for new offerings on Regular Savings accounts, which are as dead as it comes at the moment 🤨.
Hopefully, next month we'll see a change in the savings direction by organisations . Nationwide over the weekend put out a warning / notice to those who want to secure a fixed rate mortgage at the present rates offered, to do so by the end of this week 22/05 - Potentially suggesting; and as is usually expected towards the end of May, that the tide is about to turn on the types of savings vehicles being presently pushed, as mentioned above - We shall indeed eagerly await any new forthcoming offerings encompasing different types of savers and with hopefully, decent competitive interest rates.

Definitely more accessible to all now with £10 minimum, which was the rate I saw on Moneyfacts. Came on forum and noticed that you had already posted.
I find the app a bit slow and clunky, will see how it goes, but won't be putting a huge chunk in as have better rates on other accounts. Thanks for the tip on clearing out cookies and a reboot if there are problems. Still to test transfer out, which I'll do later today, am hoping it's more or less instant.
Edited to add. Just tried a withdrawal to linked account and confirmed as instant, although it does say up to 2 hours. Also note that you can't let your account go below £10 or it will be closed and money returned to your linked account.1 -
Nationwide 2026 Member Exclusive Bond at 5% now live. Max £10000 as previous ones

NB: this is not an easy access account, your money is tied up for 15 months.
