Hi, I have the Skipton Base Rate Tracker at 5.06%. Can anyone please tell me the maximum amount I can put into this account? Obviously, I wouldn't go over the £85k limit.

    T&Cs:
"You can save from £1 up to £1 million per account."

I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.

What annoys me with Chip is:-
    1. They never announced a change.
    2. It was done with immediate effect unlike Tandem who gave their customers until 15th August before change.
Yes, it's extremley annoying that both Chip & Wealthify changed their rates with immediate effect!
Thank goodness I always have back-ups, and so monies also moved with immediate effect :D

Looking at my list of accounts and wondering what Coventry will decide to do and whether the Cahoot Sunny will stay high. 60 Days notice on the Sunny at least!

Coventry triple access saver (online) (2) NLA is the highest rate (5.15% AER) in my easy access accounts yet to declare.

Now expanding my regular saver horizons to include 5.5% fixed to funnel some Ulster Loyalty savings into.

Ulster Loyalty interest is paid on 1 Jan annually, so might have some head room in savings allowance this tax year if I end up moving that elsewhere. But got until mid October to see how the dust settles.

Thanks to all for the updates, and for highlighting a couple of speculation accounts last month that might now become competitive.
  • My highest EA without a cap atm is Beehive at 5.20% NLA. No doubt tempted fate now.

Maxed out Santander at 7% NLA at that rate, Skipton at 5.50% NLA and Cahoot Sunny at 5.20%

See how many of my other accounts drop by end of the month 🤔
