Cahoot Simple Saver (Issue 4) 4.85%. One thing to note is that Cahoot give at least 2 months notice of any rate cuts, so this account will hold its rate till at least October.
Aldermore Dble 4.90% £1k min about to go NLA. Replaced by Issue 2 at 4.75%.
Additionally if I'm not mistaken Monmouthshire Limited Access Saver (Tri) at 4.8% is now eligible for a ranking.8 -
Looks like Cahoot have done their decision making and the Sunny Saver is staying at 5.2%.6

Yep - I noted the Mons yesterday but with Tri access it would be placed 11th - so o/s the Top 10; there was a lot of changes so I took the idle option... only for it to catch up with me todayBridlington1 said:

Heh, I was awake at this hour but somehow missed it before it went NLA. I had been considering it, and thinking how my parents have stuck to that account all the way up and probably will all the way back down as interest rates drop!Bridlington1 said:
Issue 2 looks like it will be the same link, but it's not available to apply yet.0 -
Getting close to the Virgin Defined Access E-saver being competitive again which people might have sitting with a quid in! Current issue 25 is 4.76% as is my issue 20 and all NLA issues in between except 24 which is 4.51%.
Has virgin announced rate cuts so far?
ETA I've just opened a speculative Issue 25 as you can have one of each issue and I've only got one withdrawal left on my old on. Another plus is that interest can be monthly as I will have some savings allowance headroom this year.0 -

Never received an email like this and also holding issue 68. The last email I received was on 18th June announcing a rate reduction, which never materialised. Just tried to check if anything is showing in the new app but it isn't working.UncleK said:
Just got the email from Cynergy reducing the rate on issue 68 to 5% as follows: "We recently reduced the interest rate on two issues of our Online Easy Access Account. One of these was issue 68 which relates to an account you hold. We have identified that you did not receive the notification about this, and therefore your rate was not changed. It will now change on 19 August 2024."SeriousHoax said:
Issue 68 now showing 5% for me.moi said:
Re Cynergy Issue 68, I didn't ever get an email about the rate reduction. 4 July has come & gone, and my account still shows 5.15% overall rate 🤷♂️mebu60 said:
No rate reduction . . . . yet! Check again on 4 July.tg99 said:re Cynergy My issue 68 which I didn’t get an email notification for is still showing 5.15% ie no rate reduction.
I got that same email from Cynergy yesterday about Issue 68. They were right, I hadn't had any emails about reduction, nor the actual reduction.0 -
Oh for those heady days when it was a pleasure to open this thread to see what the new top rate was. Ah well had to come to an end some time.

Re the Monument rate cut to 4.70% - have people had an email about this? I’ve had nothing as yet and app still shows 5.03%.0

@soulsaver
I appreciate it won't get a ranking but it may be of interest to some:
Tipton & Coseley BS have a Loyalty Double Access Saver at 5% (£20k max, branch/post only) for those who hold a savings account with the Tipton that was opened on or before 30 June 2024.5 -
possibly there isn't a rate cut for existing users?tg99 said:Re the Monument rate cut to 4.70% - have people had an email about this? I’ve had nothing as yet and app still shows 5.03%.
if you take a look at their historic rates page, the EA account listings is split into two - those opened before last Friday (you) and those opened after (e.g new accounts).... the former doesn't show any rate drop yet; the latter does.2
