if you take a look at their historic rates page, the EA account listings is split into two - those opened before last Friday (you) and those opened after (e.g new accounts).... the former doesn't show any rate drop yet; the latter does.0 -

They indeed say from 8th October the tracker rate will change to 1.25% below base rate. But then say the Boosted Rate will be 4.85% until 16th January 2025. Surely from 8th October this will then be 4.75% (assuming no more cuts)?

Their page on interest rates has been updated for the October change, but the separate page on the boost hasnt.0
