Anyone signed up with Ulster? My switch to them is confirmed & going ahead but they said an email would be sent "shortly" a couple days ago to enable me to sign up for online banking but nothing received yet.0

Hi, would somebody be kind enough to walk me through the security part of the NatWest/RBS application process please?
Is it like Barclays where you have to upload a video of yourself moving and talking, or is it it simpler?0 -
Existing Ulster customer here, I submitted the online switch form last Weds and haven't even had a whiff of confirmation since, apart from a text on Friday afternoon from a random mobile number asking for the last 4 digits of my debit card (no bank names mentioned in the SMS either, so not exactly confidence inspiring). CS say to wait 7 working days before raising. I'd rather it was automated and nobody looks too closely or they might see I've already had NW & RBS last year.SickGroove said:Anyone signed up with Ulster? EDIT: Chase have just got in touch to say goodbye to the burner account, still nothing from Ulster0 -
anoukis said:Is the customer number for Natwest and RBS the same? E.g. the format DDMMYYxxxx, with the last 4 digits xxxx the same for the 2 banks, since they seem to use the same log in interface and they are part of the same group?
Same format, different numbers. It is the same system/interface but it's a separate instance of the platform - meaning you can't see your RBS accounts with your Natwest login and vice versa (unless you add them via open banking).

Yes because they are making sure no one does the in/out shuffle, say £250 five times in a day. Don’t know the answer to the second part of your question.paddyposh said:Does the £1250 actually have to stay in for 24 hours? Or anyone had any joy by depositing and taking it back out sooner0 -
Once account was opened how long did it take for them to tell you switch had started?0
