The in/out shuffle is still perfectly possible, it just takes 5+ days. The point above the 24 hours one makes this clear.
So if you paid in £250 waited 24 hours then transferred it out, then back in again and repeat, it would take a minimum of 5 days.2 -
@youngretired can you recall the furthest date in advance you could pick for the switch please?0

youngretired said:I've applied for the Ulster account, as I would like the Loyalty Saver. During the application it gave me the reserved account details and allowed me to pick the switch date and choose a memorable password.
I was expecting to do the ID process during the application like Natwest, but didn't get the option. All I got was a application reference and statement they will complete their final checks and text or email within the next few days to advise on the next steps. Also statement saying once we receive your paperwork, we'll complete your application.
Did all other Ulster new customers have the same or did you provide ID during the application?
You'll shortly receive a text from Ulster asking you to "confirm your ID through our security partner HooYu", with a link.

harz99 I can't remember exactly, I picked the 6th March (earliest being the 1st) and I know that the options was very long. Normal switches usually allow up to 30 days.1

Well after not being able to supply id online, that's photo id, I don't have it I closed the process and forgetting about this switch incentive with Ulster.
I chose Ulster as I've never had their account but currently have an RBS account and can't really remember when I last had a NatWest incentive, think 2-3 year ago?
So this morning I get a letter asking me to provide a signature, tick a box and asking me to provide an exact name to be put on the debit card. Is this standard procedure from Ulster, do I stand a chance of them just wanting this?
And as I type this I get a reminder to provide id via a text link. What's the chances of being accepted without the online id photo check?0
