I chose Ulster as I've never had their account but currently have an RBS account and can't really remember when I last had a NatWest incentive, think 2-3 year ago?
So this morning I get a letter asking me to provide a signature, tick a box and asking me to provide an exact name to be put on the debit card. Is this standard procedure from Ulster, do I stand a chance of them just wanting this?
And as I type this I get a reminder to provide id via a text link. What's the chances of being accepted without the online id photo check?0 -

If you can't do the online photo ID check the only other option is to bring some ID to a branch in person.0 -
I guess going into a branch of the mentioned branches could work. Also guess it'll be appointment time too, very rare they'll see anyone by just popping in. I'll hunt down my nearest, that's if they see me.0

I signed up with Ulster Mon morn, didn't hear anything till this afternoon and had the Hooyu ID check that I passed, Why do they both with the location check? as it's pointless

My Metro switch to Nat West has been rejected (not exactly sure why, I suspect its either not eligible or because the 2 Metro accounts I have are almost indistinguishable on the app I've put the wrong one down) so I've had another try with TSB, don't really want to lose that account however you think £200.......
Can always open another TSB one down the line.
The RBS one from Halifax seems to be progressing at least.1 -
I’m going for the triple! NatWest has its switch date already locked in for next week, RBS and Ulster applied for this morning0

I got switch text which is due to complete on the 28th just in time for pay day1

Applied Monday 19th evening account opened & switch text today0

So, my NatWest switch is due to complete this coming Friday, should I then also put in the £1250 on Friday once I receive the transfer complete text/email from NatWest...or wait til Saturday before depositing the £1250 ie 24 hours after the switch completed?
I will probably leave the £1250 in the account until next Tuesday...just to make sure!0
