I’m going for the triple! NatWest has its switch date already locked in for next week, RBS and Ulster applied for this morning
all of your applications have been accepted ? i mean did they all gave you switch dates etc
I applied to all three on the 16th and was given switching dates of 26th February for Natwest/RBS and 28th February for Ulster.
that’s great .. did you use all same details like email address and phone number for all three accounts ?
    Yep!

So, those who've gone for the hat trick, are you waiting til they've all switched before depositing the £1250 into each account simultaneously, or just transferring £1250 into each account on the day they each switch?
Yes I was going to wait until they’ve all switched and add in the £1,250 on the same day. From history it doesn’t look like they each process the incentive at the same time so this may or may not make any difference

I'm waiting until they've all switched too but I'm waiting until the day after the last one switches before I add the money.

Just to double check, if I qualify, I can apply for switches from all 3 brands and get 3 sets of switch rewards?

Not seeking to rain on anybody's parade here for this is the first thing that crossed my mind also, however upon perusing the T&C pdf it became immediately apparent that they've already countered for this eventuallity.

"You can only benefit from this offer once. This means that even if you successfully open more than one eligible
account and meet the conditions of this offer more than once, you’ll only receive one £200 payment."

Therefore, it would appear alas and alack no it it not possible to benefit more than once, let alone three times.
Should anybody still be tempted and further be successful then do let us all know. Should the offer still be available then I'm sure we're all under starters to have a crack at that one...

I'm waiting for the same outcome - I did NatWest switch in December 2019, still use them, my pay-out was in January 2020. The wording on the RBS website is:

If you've previously received a switcher incentive from NatWest Group since 01 January 2020, you will not be eligible for this offer

    Though the terms say

You won’t be eligible to earn £200 if you’ve taken advantage of a cash switcher offer from NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland plc or Ulster Bank since 1 January 2020

Thus in theory I don't qualify but the terms are a bit woolly as I would argue I took advantage in 2019 but they might argue as the incentive was received in 2020 I don't qualify. If anyone who has switched since 2020 gets paid, I will do the switch, if not I can just wait for the next cycle as I don't want to waste time doing a switch and not getting anything. I have a few that were done in 2022 as well so they aren't likely to be available until late next year so not like it's the end of the world to not qualify this time.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

My Ulster account confirmed opened. Expect the card and the usual bumf in the next few days
Switch on the 1st. I'm not entitle to a payment as had one from Natwest in June 2020, still hoping to get one thou.
    Let's Be Careful Out There
  • I have to admit I don't think for one minute that I stand a chance of 2 separate payouts. If the RBS group allows that it is incredibly lax/naive on their part - great for us but very slack from them.

But as it is one of those rare situations where you have absolutely nothing to lose then why not.

I haven’t had a hard search. I have alerts set up and I’ve had a look and no hard search. Existing NatWest customer. I’ll post back if it comes through.

I'd love to set something like this up. Given you're obviously more experienced at it, would you happen to know of a free service that would enable me to do that, or "Go look at this MSE article..."?

Credit Karma (TransUnion) and Clearscore (Equifax) will alert you to new searches. I don't think there is a free alerts option for Experian. When I opened my new accounts for the previous offer I had a hard search from each brand at Equifax, but they didn't search Experian or TransUnion. I signed up as a new customer to each.
