'You won’t be eligible to earn £200 if you’ve taken advantage of a cash switcher offer from NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland plc or Ulster Bank since 1 January 2020.' ... I have not taken advantage of any of those cash switcher offers previously.danny13579 said:
Can you explain which terms make you think this?Dominic_Blake1 said:I strongly believe I will be eligible for both bonuses according to the terms of the respective offers.

Does anyone know if you have to wait until the switch completes before they do the check that you've deposited £1250, or can you just initiate the switch and immediately put the £1250 in the account and then withdraw it after 24 hours before the switch has completed?0

Also, what happens if the eligibility check for the second bonus happens after the first has been paid? Then you will have taken advantage of a cash switcher offer since 1st Jan 2020.At best, the terms are unclear on whether two or three bonuses will be paid to those trying for them.1 -
But assuming they were to enforce this rule (hopefully they don't), I still don't see how you think it qualifies you for 2 bonuses. If you get your NatWest bonus then you've received a cash switcher offer from NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland plc or Ulster Bank since 1 January 2020, so why would you get one from RBS or Ulster as well?Dominic_Blake1 said:

All good points, you might well be correct. However, as things currently stand I have not received any switch bonuses from those banks. Assuming that on the 27th, after both the NW/RBS switches have completed, I transfer £1,250 into each account simultaneously, I'm not convinced that I won't receive the bonuses. There is definitely a case to be made that as soon as one bonus arrives it would render all others void (since I would as you say have then taken advantage of a switch offer since 1 Jan 2020), however I'm not sure. The other point is that there is a precedent for this: Last year several people successfully claimed all three bonuses!masonic said:Dominic_Blake1 said:

Whatever the result, the good news is that the timescales are not long so either way we'll all know soon.0 -
You might well have a point! I answered in more detail above, I'm not convinced you are wrong, you might be right, lets see what happens in a couple of weeksdanny13579 said:

If things go the way they have done in all their previous switch offers then you will receive both bonuses. Transferring £1,250 simultaneously will make no difference as each bank has its own timescale and it may be days or even weeks between receiving your bonuses.Dominic_Blake1 said:All good points, you might well be correct. If they enforce that rule then you will receive one bonus. But they have never done so before, each bank seems to act independently of each other.Dominic_Blake1 said:There is definitely a case to be made that as soon as one bonus arrives it would render all others void (since I would as you say have then taken advantage of a switch offer since 1 Jan 2020), however I'm not sure.
I know, I got 2 last year and 1 a few years previously, but there was around a week in between receiving each bonus.Dominic_Blake1 said:The other point is that there is a precedent for this: Last year several people successfully claimed all three bonuses!0
