Did anyone get confirmation about the switch being in progress? My Natwest account has been opened, but I've not heard anything about the switch. Started on 28th March. Thanks0

How long do Ulster take sending activation codes? I got an email with my customer number, and it said they would send an activation code within 48 hours of they have my number (they do). If they don't it said I would get a letter within 10 days! I got a letter with the card they sent me, but no activation code. Also they sent me a form to fill out for US if I haven't already done it online. What is the point when I have? I presume I can ignore that, and my switch now completes on 8th April. However, I still need their daft activation code.0

Hopefully i will be able to request switch in time, as waiting on the account to be opened (applied on sunday without requesting a switch yet). I had a text with the account number from Natwest today and stating they will email when the account is open, so hopefully once get that i can apply for online banking and then put the request in for a switch. (the latest email had, also from today states that they are getting the account ready and will be open soon, but need to run a few checks???)
Strangely the text message states a customer number but the digits at the end that should follow the date of birth are all zeros so either that is an error, or there is all zeros after the date of birth, if its an error, hopefully that won't slow things down.
After two weeks of silence, I spoke to Ulster thorugh live chat last night, they told me that the selfie i sent with Hooyu wasn't good enough and so they couldn't proceed with my application. I had the same problem when applying to Natwest but NW told me about this via email and rejected my application (I applied again with NW and it workied the second time). However, Ulster did not tell me about this and as many people in here said that Ulster take longer to do thigs I thought it was normal. Thankfully I contacted them. I was told that my application was still open though (unlike NW who rejected me), and I could finish applying and confirming my identity with help form the paper documents they sent me (which again seems like many people here received but could disregard becaue Hooyu worked). As I'm not anywhere near Belfast, and as I was not going to post them my ID, they advised that I could go to a NW or RBS branch and present the paper documents and my ID in person. There is a NW branch near me and I've just got back from having the paper forms and my ID scanned and that should hopefully mean an account will be opened (and I also chose to switch so that has been applied before before 2nd April).
It's been a faff but hopefully that's it now, and once this UB account it open I can complete the cash despoits and reclaim the incentives. The woman in NW did actually say that the Hooyu system has good and bad days and that many people have problems with it, so if anyone is still waiting on UB for and update, maybe get in touch with their live chat and ask for an update.
Has anyone else had this on their Ulster application and if so, what is it about? Ulster are really starting to pee me off now...!0 -

I contacted customer services twice today (Tuesday) The first advisor said I could request the activation code via the app (that was incorrect information). I did query his advice and should have tried while he was still on the line.
The second advisor said that despite them having my phone number, as per the details in the email, that I could only get the activation code via a letter as I was a new customer. He said it takes two to three working days. I asked him to check if it had been sent - he checked and said it had been sent today. That seems a coincidence.
However, he did give me my account details which have not yet been sent. I've had my debit card, which doesn't show the account details, and the pin for the card.

Looks like the offer has been pulled now.
I completed my application yesterday and details for switch, so hopefully it will proceed through smoothly.1
