Did anyone get confirmation about the switch being in progress? My Natwest account has been opened, but I've not heard anything about the switch. Started on 28th March. Thanks :)
I got a few texts over a number of days after the text confirming account details.

Remember we’ve just come out of a 4 day weekend due to bank holidays.
Thanks, got a text this morning confirming the switch is in progress :)
  • I put some money in and out of the Ulster account a few times over the bank holiday weekend. The app is now showing all the deposits and withdrawals were processed yesterday instead of over the last few days. Even though I left the money in for 24 hours I wonder if this means it won't count.

It'll be fine. If there's any issues you'll have cause for complaint.

Switch offers have been pulled from their respective websites this morning, 3rd April.
:'(    Got my RBS one. The wife's got 2 applications in. I have an Ulster one going through but have a problem with the Nat West one. Some details incorrect apparently so not sure what will happen to that. Still £800 is not bad.

I got one of them and found out why yesterday. Tried to pay in some cash (remember that) using the machines at my local Natwest. The machines don't have the option when used with an Ulster card!

My wife got one this morning. I told her she needed to fly to Belfast to pay money in!

I got the Nat West one and the RBS one.Just tried opening a Ulster Bank Select account to switch my Lloyds to it.

The questions asked were a bit different wanted to know how many credit cards I had, never been asked that from any other bank i  have swiitched to.

Any way the screen about the switch quickly disapeared and was told they would do final checks and notify me on their  decision in 2 days time.Does this sound the norm?
Mine was pretty much the same, I got the application form in the post yesterday but they said if you had already verified online (which I have) you don't need to send it back. I got my activation code today for online banking and already had the debit card + personal code thing. Sporadic SMS from them but hey, soon as switch comes through, £1250 in and hopefully bonus to complete the double (had NatWest before and still an account holder)

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

How long do Ulster take sending activation codes? I got an email with my customer number, and it said they would send an activation code within 48 hours of they have my number (they do). If they don't it said I would get a letter within 10 days! I got a letter with the card they sent me, but no activation code. Also they sent me a form to fill out for US if I haven't already done it online. What is the point when I have? I presume I can ignore that, and my switch now completes on 8th April. However, I still need their daft activation code.
29th March email with customer number
Activation code came this morning for me
