How long is it since your account was opened?Johnny-Cage said:Still can’t get on to online banking and was due to have a call back this morning and nothing so far0 -
25th March, Spoke to numerous CS reps and they can’t see a issue. First was told wait 24hrs, to many attempts to register for online banking. Then again wait another 24hrs but they just don’t have a clue. Even re-register for online banking fails tells me to contact Natwest.danny13579 said:

Think it’s coz I’ve had an account previously but 1 CS rep said he deleted my profile so try again 6pm following day when the system reboots
The account is fully open and switch completes on the 5th0 -
I was told by their customer service that it takes 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) after your account is set up for online banking to work. Also, if you keep trying to re-register for online banking during this time, it locks you out for a further 48 hours (again excluding weekends and holidays).Johnny-Cage said:25th March, Spoke to numerous CS reps and they can’t see a issue. So if you tried re-registering since the 27th March you may be locked out until today or tomorrow.2 -
For anyone who struggled with adding another person so they could switch a joint account, it's now working properly. They have been contacting me nonstop since I abandoned my attempt.0

For those who requested the switch via the existing customer form when (or if) did you get any further contact from NatWest with a switch date/confirmation it is going ahead.
I submitted the form lunchtime on 27th (so last wednesday) but beyond the screen confirming it had been submitted, (which i have taken a photo of), I've heard nothing more. I requested asap on the online form.

I got the Nat West one and the RBS one.Just tried opening a Ulster Bank Select account to switch my Lloyds to it.The questions asked were a bit different wanted to know how many credit cards I had, never been asked that from any other bank i have swiitched to.Any way the screen about the switch quickly disapeared and was told they would do final checks and notify me on their decision in 2 days time.Does this sound the norm?0

No confirmation or communication after submitting the form at all. All I got was a sms a day or two later asking me to contact them on Cora webchat as some details were incorrect. (I got a number in the sort code wrong) Anyway - at least it shows the request had gone through.anna42hmr said:For those who requested the switch via the existing customer form when (or if) did you get any further contact from NatWest with a switch date/confirmation it is going ahead.

I just got my NatWest £200 paid in today. I would like to do a Santander switch to take advantage of the £185 offer. How quickly do people switch accounts? Would it cause issues to switch the NatWest account so quickly after opening/just getting the £200 payment? This isn’t my main bank account. I have also opened a Lloyds account and I am waiting for that to be set up/switched from another donor account. Thanks.0
