Switched from TSB to an existing RBS account.

Mon 18 Mar 14:50, switch requested
Tue 19 Mar 14:00, text and email acknowledgement from RBS
Wed 27 Mar 10:01, text and email from RBS confirming switch completion.
Wed 27 Mar 13:13, £1,250 paid in to RBS
Thu 28 Mar 16:24, text from RBS with "Great news, your £200 in is your account".

Now that is what I would call impressive!
That’s good. I put mine in this morning, with the Easter weekend I imagine it’ll be late next week mine comes in

You have to use a NI postcode rather than your own. Try BT1 5HD and you should be able to select the Belfast branch.

Do Natwest normally send confirmation of switches?  Wife and I both filled in a switch request to existing accounts yesterday.  Not received any email or text confirmation.
i was wondering the same as i completed the switch form yesterday (Wednesday) lunch time got the screen to say form submitted but no emails or text confirming the form had been received / processed etc or when it will start (selected asap)

I have requested a switch to my Ulster and Nat West currents (already in existence) from 2 Chase currents I opened specifically for this.

Recieved a text from both banks asking me to go to Cora Web chat as they needed more info. I did the Ulster one yesterday and all they wanted was the same info I had given on the original application????

I am a little unsure about the Chase current. They are asking for the debit card number. I wasn't intending giving that as I don't want my main Chase account switched/closed. Any experience on this?

Hi, will I receive a £200 free cash if I switch from Natwest to RBS, even though these are sisters companies?

Just provide the details of your second/burner Chase current account and select ‘no debit card’ option when signing up for the switch.

To be sure, check your main Chase account is the ‘Spending from’ account.
