Morning all, was trying for the triple crown and when putting in a switch from Chase to Bank of Ulster it gets to the bank details to switch and keeps saying bank card details are incorrect/not in date....which is strange as has worked perfectly fine on the other 2? (it is an extra account made not the main one) any ideas??

Do Natwest normally send confirmation of switches? Wife and I both filled in a switch request to existing accounts yesterday. Not received any email or text confirmation.0

Yes, once they've (manually) begun the switch based on your form submission. Expect something later today.

I had text from Ulster today saying PIN and card sent out, not had the "sorry to see you go" letter from Lloyds yet but hey, it was an empty account that I used for a year for free cinema tickets and nothing else. I'd be happy with the double of RBS and Ulster if they pay as I am with NatWest anyway and had their incentive in 2020/1
Fingers crossed for another £200 and that would be all the major ones done in the last 3 years. HSBC maybe again in the future as First Direct were the earliest one I didSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

My wife's switch to NatWest due on 26th still hasn't completed. The money from her TSB account went over to NatWest yesterday afternoon, but the DDs haven't gone over yet. When the money went over TSB sent my wife a notification that she had set up a new payee, so for a minute she thought her account had been hacked! Weird way of doing things.0

Your Direct Debit payments will be visible after the first payment has taken.

I'll never know whether that's in fact the case, as I didn't switch any DD's.0 -

I just received a notification on my phone that one of the £200 bonus banks pulled the offer already, but sadly the MSE app does not mention which one.0 -
