Can you explain this more fully? I opened an additional Chase current to use as a switch doner account. I don't want to close my other chase current account/saver. Is this not possible?rawy said:My switch had to be restarted due to Chase being awkward & not being clear that Savings Accounts needs to be closed before any switch, so its going to switch on 4th April now

CASS switching always involves closing your donor current account. For Chase you need to open a second current account and switch that - as long as you always keep at least one account open then you won't have issues with Chase preventing you from opening new accounts in future.VXman said:

A few people reported however that Chase are awkward when you have a linked savings account - even if you have multiple current accounts, attempting to switch it may fail if the you don't close the savings account first.0 -
Going to be my deposits into NW and RBS tomorrow as I get paid then.
Question - is there a limit per day on both for taking it out? I think I saw RBS was £1,000 max withdrawal from the app per day. Is Natwest the same?0 -
They are both a pain in the rear. Well for me, most I can move out from Natwest or RBS daily is £750, for me to be able to do more I need biometrics enabled. Everytime I go to enable it I'm told 'You've not used the app enough' Grrrpaddyposh said:Going to be my deposits into NW and RBS tomorrow as I get paid then.

Anyone had their switch mysteriously delayed by Natwest? My wife and I were supposed to have switches from TSB completing yesterday, but despite all texts assuring it was going ahead and nothing suggesting there was a problem, and then the customer service asking us to, and I quote "wait until today" (yesterday) we're now being today it'll take another 2 days.Complaints raised, obviously. Just interested if this has happened to anyone else.0

By biometrics enabled do you mean like Face ID/Touch ID etc?Marcoos said:

I have FaceID enabled to log into the app. But at the top of the app is 'Approval requests' and there is an option to register there. That is what won't allow me to register 'yet' even though my account switch completed a couple of weeks ago now. Without that I'm limited to 5 tranfers a day that can total no more than £750paddyposh said:

I move out more than that quite regularly with NW after payday to another current account that pays interest and moved my £1250 out of RBS fine in one gopaddyposh said:Going to be my deposits into NW and RBS tomorrow as I get paid then.

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

The biometrics is an in-app thing. not linked to face ID or fingerprint unlock. Essentially you register your photo inside the app, and it then compares this to a new photo of you that gets taken when you need to authorise something.paddyposh said:

Yes. My wife's switch to NatWest was supposed to be yesterday, but hasn't happened. Nothing from them to say why or apologise.WillPS said:Anyone had their switch mysteriously delayed by Natwest?
