Another vote for the ice cream maker - I love mine and homemade tastes so much better and doesn’t have all the rubbish in it. You know it makes sense!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

I did go and buy the £13 ice cream maker this morning, they only had a couple at 10am so glad I made the effort even though it reminded me why I don't shop at the weekend when I don't need to. so many people *shudders*

The ice cream maker sounds like a win allowing you've already had - and well used - one of the same type! If summer ever arrives, ours might find its way out of the cupboard and more reguarly into use!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Notes for me so that I don't forget what I did
lemon sorbet - 4 lemons, zest, juice and a dash of sugar. Sugar syrup based on the volume of juice with equal volume of sugar. Leave to cool before mixing and then churning
pork - med veg, herby potatoes into the oven. Sliced onion on low. Mix pork mince with 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning and scrunch a little before pan frying till browned. Teaspoon of smoked paprika and cayenne. Tom purée and garlic purée. Small tub of pasta sauce (60ml?) and then a little water. Let it cook through before serving it all together. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

All sounding thoroughly delicious! Not sure why I don't think to do sorbets to be honest - I really enjoy them, but when the ice cream make comes out it's almost always ice cream we make.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Just calling in unannounced to say "hello" and thank you for getting me through a bit of a hiatus over the past few weeks. I too have suffered undiagnosed bowel issues from a late teenager and just coming through a particularly bad "IBS" flare-up. My latest cure is to curl up and read MSE diaries from the beginning so today marks the day I've read your previous one and this right through and will follow you onwards and upwards.
Just love all your cooking, recipes, furry things (cats/dogs/jumpers) and general life happenings.
