My year of firsts is over. Thank you to everyone who has supported me with comments and good wishes over the year. I feel that it is time for a new diary as I focus on the way forward, rather than everything being about what happened in the past. You may recall I said some months ago that my aim was to smile and remember rather than live my life on memories.
Please do come and cheer me along in the next phase over on +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

The paper tax return I submitted many months ago has finally delivered an outcome of a few hundred pounds refund as he died part way through the tax year. Just in case it helps anyone else on timescales for a relatively simple paper tax return by the bereavement department.
