I know some people who swear by Molke. I've got one from when I had a cyst right under my bra line and they are very comfy - but I personally don't find it supportive enough for everyday use (I normally wear a 34G). I wore it last night under a dress with some shapwear over the top and it was fine - today I'm just wearing it under a normal top and I feel like I'm annoyingly wobbling about 😂5

Right so I am going back 60 odd years. Back then bras were actually designed by engineers. As in the straps were in the right place to be load bearing. Basically the front strap was almost 2 inches nearer the centre than it is now. I get that many may want a bra that allows them to have scooped necks etc. But why not let a few of us have an everyday bra that just does the loadbearing job. I think any company making these will make a fortune.7

We have a Bravissimo in the next town (approx 15 miles/ 30 mins away) 😊 I like it there 😊
I wear a 36GG/H, depending upon manufacturer/ style and find Molke and similar just give me more of a bolster bust, rather than 2 well defined lumps (! 😁😁). Plus the straps are so thick and they come up so highGive me a nice balconette/ balcony in preference, although I do have some full cup styles, too - seem to be more readily available and work well for work.. What I most dislike about my size is having 3 hooks on the back, as opposed to 2 on most bras.
I appreciate that I wear mostly underwired, but I would say they are well engineered styles from Bravissimo - if I slipped the straps off there is no downward movement - the band and style give the support (so side panels, etc). Too many people wear bras that are too large in the band (the old plus 4 method - if you measure 36 under your bust, why wear a size 40....? 🤔🤷🏻♀️) and too small in the cup - M&S put me in a 40E - which then lacks support in sooo many ways!
@redofromstart - maybe look at John Lewis for online ordering? They have some Panache and Royce non wired in small back/ larger cup sizes that look supportive - and attractive (only sports bras should be in the 'not attractive' category, imo, due to hugely practical qualities needed for no-bounce - I want nice looking bras for me for everyday!)😁😁

If there's an independent nearby they may be worth a look. I've always found I've got the best fit even if there isn't as much choice (and I can then look for the same style in different colours online.3

I really like the scarlett bra from bravissimo but I think they discontinued it. Also wired, sorry🙃3

I've always worn M&S underwired bras for years and found them ideal for me. However as I've been losing weight the last year, whilst I was away for the weekend back in the spring I decided to pop in the local Bravissimo shop and get re-measured. About an hour and quite a bit poorer I came out with three smaller bras - two that I could wear strapless if needed. They were very nice but I then found as the year wore on I needed smaller bras again. I've reverted back to M&S - I'm now 40C and have found their non-underwired more structured cup bras very comfortable and still give me a nice shape ( I did already have a non-underwired bra which is my 'Airport Bra' and I wear when flying so I don't set off the metal detector security alarm when going through! This especially happens at Inverness airport on my way back from my DD's place in Scotland which I visit a few times a year. The detector there is especially vicious!😂).Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Oh dear - how well I know the embarrassment of the underwire bra while travelling! I switched to a supportive sports bra for travelling many years ago! Nothing worse than being wanded by a male security guard young enough to be your son & seeing them try not to smirk!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! @rtandon27 - that's not great is it?😂. Actually Inverness airport is ok as they always seem to have women wanding the women passengers. It's odd though - it only ever seemed to happen to me at the smaller airports- Gatwick etc always ok! The worst was when I flew back from a very small French airport a couple of years ago. The alarm went off and I was wanded by a woman security guard, but she had the most appalling case of BO that I've encountered on a woman since I don't know when! I nearly gagged! 🤮Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
