Excellent puss cat rescue 🐈3

Gosh, what a fiasco having to climb up to rescue the silly cat! Hope it doesn't get into the habit of doing it!3

My young cat used to do this when we first got her. We have a very tall tree in the garden and she used to climb almost to the top then get stuck 😐I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I am sure you will be delighted to know that PP has not been back up the tree. She was lucky that you can wedge the ladder between the split trunk and the stone wall so a fairly safe climb for me. I will leave her to work it out if she does it again though. They have all done it at some point, with the notable exception of Mrs Brady who would have asked someone to carry her up the tree so that she could do her best Penelope Pitstop squeals to come back down.
CCW007 TT was mostly gloating at the stupidity of PP in classic cat fashion.
Fresh food for the week purchased this morning, and £10 of MrM vouchers confirmed (3 x £40 spend to qualify this time).
Extra income going quite well this month with £60 of cashback, c£20 PA, £50 Azn voucher (azn CC opened - I had one before and just use for them), and hopefully a NW switch for £175 going through. I am now writing down the extra income and non grocery spending so I can't pretend to myself that it hasn't happened, but also because I want to fund my fritters through this type of income.
That said, fat club tonight and I want to sign up for the next 12 week block which is c£60. I also ordered a full length mirror/jewellery stand thing with my Azn vouchers because it is very easy to ignore the problem if you can't see it! A long time since we have had an accessible big mirror. Just need to make a space for it now.
It is not actually raining or freezing, and the green waste bins get collected tomorrow so I have charged my headband headphones, taken my anti histamines and will go and crack on with clearing the last of the green waste from the front lawn and make a start on pruning roses. If I am not back in a few hours then send a rescue party, I will be stuck in the enormous Rambling Rector...

Two hours of progress outside, the skip is much fuller and the green waste bins are full and out ready for collection.
Too cold to do any more outside, and I could do with empty green bins first, so a quick coffee and then some more inside clearing. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

A quick coffee turned into reading my car insurance renewal, which had nearly doubled against last year! Shame because they were so helpful and I would have chosen to stay with them for a small premium but £400 extra is a bit extreme. Anyway, a few minutes on a comparison site and I have more than halved their price (with the other super helpful insurance company happily), and gained a £20 voucher for MrS. I hadn't used auto renew so at least I don't have to ring and have the annoying conversation at least. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
