Hello everyone. Glad to hear that you have survived a battering on your boat Nmm. Really excited to welcome some new members, keeps me inspired. Here’s my first ‘tada’ of 24. Now mounted. This was in a cotton and twine subscription for December 2020! Stitching through the backlog now amongst painting and renovations. Not sure whether to keep it for our house or gift it to my sister. Nanny G, I don’t worry about perfection or the end product anymore and this group has really helped me with that. I just love the process, it is generally really calming for me. Now onto my next projects …
The red gingham background really makes this pop

Drawingaline - I hadn't thought of it being for a memorial year, but it makes sense. I might just keep it in then, it would make it easier for me🙂 thanks

That's alright! There were lots of memorial things in 2014 and 2018 for the centenary years, and with the Poppies it ties in.

Still doing a little bit of my x-stitch each day and I'm really pleased with the results, it'll take some time but I want to start my green father Christmas in June if I want to finish him for this Christmas so I'd better get a move on!!🤣
