    Hi all,

Wow-wee! So so great to see so many posting on here and some new faces too! Welcome one and all xx

Well done on having the first finish @betasam :)

I've been at work this week and a bit poorly. Had Covid over Christmas and then got another ailment this week which I won't go into details about but suffice to say I needed meds and a LOT of cranberry juice/water..... All mostly back to normal now thank goodness.

All Christmas decs came down today and my trusty craft lamp/magnifier will go back into the lounge. I intend to get the Haberdashery Shop out later and do a bit after tea. There....I've said it now.... must do it!!

    Have a good evening all,
    Coxy xx

Update on Looe Harbour. Onto page 3/6 but those two houses on the right took forever, lots of unpicking when I miscounted 😬

I am finally feeling more able to stitch after a horrendous time with a tooth infection. Still not fully sorted but at least the awful nerve pain has passed. I plan to finish page 3 of this then go back to my Delft tile wall hanging to finish the 3rd tile fully then I WILL finish Savannah Sunset. Hopefully by the end of Jan. I won't start my new big project until that and Looe Harbour are fully done.

Is Looe Harbour an Emma Louise design? I have banned myself from looking at her website as I always want to spend money! I stitched St Ives for my Mum and really enjoyed all the bright colours.

I am useless at french knots so I suspect I too shall be using beads instead on the great wave.

I have been doing a bit on the steam engine tonight. Next week is busier so I might not get much stitching done - alternatively, I might not get much housework done!

Yes it is. My daughter got it for me for Xmas. We have holidayed there a few times and love it. I am enjoying the stitching, but after a good start it has really slowed down.

That's lovely. Mum got me a subscription for the magazine for my birthday last year. I think it must be finished though as I haven't had the latest one through. Need to decide if I bother to renew it or not. I liked getting it and got a few of the kits throughout the year, but I have plenty to be getting one with atm.
