@Drawingaline that’s going to look amazing and despite the awful sounding toothache you’ve made great progress. Sorry to hear you’ve also been poorly @Coxy11 let’s hope for a swift recovery.Drawingaline said:Update on Looe Harbour. Onto page 3/6 but those two houses on the right took forever, lots of unpicking when I miscounted 😬
I am finally feeling more able to stitch after a horrendous time with a tooth infection. Still not fully sorted but at least the awful nerve pain has passed. I plan to finish page 3 of this then go back to my Delft tile wall hanging to finish the 3rd tile fully then I WILL finish Savannah Sunset. Hopefully by the end of Jan. I won't start my new big project until that and Looe Harbour are fully done.

Hi all,
Well I’m mightily impressed with all the progress and the little fox is too cute @betasam. I am not going to look at any websites as have far too much stash and am so time poor, but can see the Looe Harbour is going to be great @Drawingaline. I do hope your toothache has subsided.
I am still a little poorly. My symptoms improved on Saturday then came back again on Sunday so have been taking more meds and drinking plenty of fluids.
I picked up the Haberdashery Shop on Sunday and made good progress until I realised I have mis-stitched the shop keepers hair and as a result the stitching to the left of it is going to be ‘off’. It’s a very tight design with no wiggle room. I am now in a quandary as to what to do. Do I frog – will be loads, do I carry on and see if I can mask it. Just so disappointed in myself. Think I’m going to frog but need to do so during the day and it won’t be happening this week as I’m at work!
I think I’ve a quiet evening tomorrow as DH usually goes to the pub. Might get the back of the crochet slipover out and attempt to join the squares. I did the front over Christmas when I couldn’t go see anyone. Once the back is done I can join the shoulders and side seams and start working on the hemline, neckline and armholes. Then it’s the dreaded sewing in of the ends and blocking. Might do some sewing in of ends whilst watching TV to lessen the pain.
Hope everyone is doing okay and remember to post photos

Thanks Coxy11 for inviting me from another thread…..
By way of introduction- I have a small online craft shop (I have two other part time jobs - the crafts is more a hobby to try and sell a few bits). I’ve tried many crafts - cards, scrapbooks, cross stitch, crochet, jewellery, watercolours, felting, quilting, - my favourites are plain sewing and making things from recycled ‘stuff’! That said, I’ve now had a mitre saw and am starting making wooden ornaments, shelf sitters etc.
This my current ‘palate’ of goodies …….carrot giftbags coming up 🥕😀
Looking forward to see what everyone else crafts

Finished the HOME part of my present x-stitch picture, just all the flowers etc to do now. Really enjoying sitting down and stitching a little most days. It's really relaxing.2

Little house shelf sitters - first mitre saw project - all recycled materials apart from the finishing wax and a bit of string!

First diamond painting is done - trouble is I don't have anything to put it in and I'm worried as it won't stay flat, that the drills will fall off.

I've been making slow and steady progress on my cross stitch too. I haven't done a stamped kit since I was much younger, and its quite enjoyable in that I definitely don't have to think as hard as usual.
Trying to keep up with decluttering and the housework means I'm not as far along as I would like, but any progress is still progress
Also thank you to @betasam for the post - it's gone in my stitching drawer to be attempted at some point later this year

My little houses came out well - love working with wood and this was salvaged from the garage with an unknown history

I am onto page 4 of Looe harbour. It's slowed right down now I am back at work. I struggle to find stitching time in the week and then feel guilty for stitching all weekend when I should be doing stuff with the kids.
I also finally got the Great Wave reframed and hung along with Cherry Blossom. I have the third in the set to do, and am feeling inspired to start it now! I love how they look on the wall. From the sofa they look like prints.
My patterns from Heaven and Earth Designs are with customs atm, can't wait to see them, and how detailed they are. I have a big wall space here to fill 😂 I also bought two more kits from cross stitcher magazine (my subscription hadn't lapsed, there was just a delay so I got two magazines this week) I have the autumn fox and the winter owl, so will probably get the spring and summer ones too and do the full set.
Need to increase my speed to fit all this in 😂
Still have an infected tooth, dentist finally opened it up this week, and apparently the inside was mush, but it didn't show on the surface or x-ray at all! More antibiotics and it's been temporarily filled as it Wil need a root canal, but tbh, if it's still not right at the end of this course of antibiotics I am going to get it taken out. It's been 5 weeks of pain (ranging from niggling to excruciating to niggling, to bad, to niggling, to bad etc etc) which is so draining and I am so over it now. This hasn't helped my wish to stitch either.
Anyway hope to get off page 4 and onto page 5 this weekend, and go through my kits and move all the threads off the cardboard onto my plastic floss keepers, and grid out the Aida. Then when I decide which one to pick up next, it will all be ready to go.
