    Hi

Please can I join in for 2024? I have a ridiculous number of craft projects to do but hoping for a frugal year so will use the craft projects to keep me occupied and stop me spending on other things.

My 2024 craft to-do list is as follows:

    • Backstitching on House cross-stitch
    • Beauty and the Beast rug
    • Beauty and the Beast cross-stitch
    • Beauty and the Beast crystal art kit
    • Black cardigan
    • Paris cross-stitch
    • Pyjama top
    • Pyjama trousers
    • Skirt
    • Torey the Tiger amigurumi kit
    • Elly the Elephant amigurumi kit
    • Pink jumper
    • Burgundy jumper
    • Woodland Thatch crystal art kit

Not sure if I can get all of those completed this year but will give it a good try.

    Thanks, B x

    Definitely joining again!

    Current projects:

Green forest dragon - need to post a picture, really. It's slow going in various shades of green, but I am determined to finish it
Lap blanket - about halfway done.

    Wish list in 2024

Frankenstein x-stitch (uses pretty much the same colours as the dragon)
    'Orange Tree' tapestry kit
    Unicorn tapestry kit
    Finish Strip quilt
    Finish knitted bolero
    'Minnie the Minx'-style jumper
    Definitely more actual sewing
At least one more of the numerous kits I have (Star Wars, Starry Night, Ice Dragon and the Christmas one my mum started but never finished)

    Should keep me busy!

Hi everyone, I'm hoping to complete

1 a jumper I've been knitting for the last three years
    2 a x-stitch house picture
3 knit a jacket for next winter
4 have a go at 'canal' style painting. I've a couple of kits from a few years ago, never touched!
5 an old fashioned x-stitch picture of a Santa for next Xmas

I've been thinking about some of these the last few years, so I'd better get going on them 🤣
    Happy crafting

Thanks for the shiny new thread Coxy and welcome everyone to 2024.

    This year I completed:
    1. HSC Cactus - started 12/5/22; Completed 18/02/23
    2. Cotton & Twine Dec 2020 welcome needs mounting
    3. Count with me sampler Begun 14/04/23 - 04/10/23
    4. Mother & Child Gustav Klimnt mini masterpiece for Mother’s Day
    5. Christmas card for exchange
    6. Take up curtains
In 2024 I would like to:
     - mount welcome sampler
    - stitch something for my boss who retires in April, have my eye on an Emma Congham design in one of my books - the best is yet to come
    - stitch something for my DD who gets married to her girlfriend in April
    - sort out my stash before we move
    - do some sewing, maybe block of the month French Garden quilt I’ve had for years before the fabric rots!

Anything will be a bonus combined with renovating new house, selling our current family home, downsizing and turning 60!

    Forgot to include:

Finish Art Deco Bugs Bunny x-stitch.

It went wrong, so had to restart and I lost interest. But I will hopefully pick it up again this year.

    Evening everyone

Still in pain from my tooth, swelling started today so got the antibiotic script filled and started them. Can see another trip to the emergency dentist coming up this week. Annoying, I have a trip to London planned with my youngest, to meet my eldest, may have to postpone it.

Anyway what do I want to achieve this year

    Finish current Emma Louise project
Finish Savannah Sunset that has been in time out since March.
Start and finish the map of flags kit I have for son's birthday in Feb 😬😬😬
Finish my Delft tile wall hanging (am almost 1/4 of the way through)
    Do my black work project.
Start and complete Angel of the morning.
Buy, kit up and start a Heaven and Earth Design pattern. Still deciding on which one.

I also have three other kits I would like to start and possibly complete. Not sure how any of this will go, but I feel I managed to finish quite a lot this year, and learnt masses which has helped me become a much faster and neater stitcher.
    Debt free Feb 2021 🎉

I haven't done many x-stitch projects in 2023, but I did manage some Xmas cards, an 'autumn' picture and made a start on a 'home sweet home' picture, so this year I would like to finish the 'home sweet home' and stitch a green robed Santa one I've seen for next Xmas. I'm a very slow worker as I garden, read, knit and sew as well 🤣
My youngest daughter has bought me a subscription for a x-stitch magazine as part of my Xmas present, so I'm hoping to complete the little gifts from off the front of that as well.
