Octopus saving sessions

I still see all slots 11-3pm.

Ive had saving session on 14,15,16,17 probably one today and tonorrow..

This week it really makes sense for Ocotpus to do it frequently - prices during the day have been negative and as usual expensive after 16:00. So as most people are on standard rate - the saving session requires people to shift usage from 18:00-19:00 (when Ocotpus loses money) to earlier period (when Ocotpus gets paid for people using electricty because of negative prices) and then this weekend is very windy so likely more negative prices on Saturday and first half of Sunday - so they again will earn money on people using more over the weekend - just surprised it's always Sunday 11-15, rather than Saturday or more dynamic hours adjusted for grid prices..

Just had an email from Octopus saying book you free hours for tomorrow….. except it's for Sunday , where we live tomorrow is Saturday !!

Edit: Just had a WHOOPS email from 🐙 confirming they meant Sunday. Wish they would offer 0800-1200 its set to be sunny from 1100 this week….

I think they have a problem, I checked mine on streamlit and the baseline was upfd , will check again later see if they sort it.

They have messed the baselines as far I ccan tell, mine is about 0.5 kWh out.

15/9 says I didn’t use any less but exported over 1x kWh back to the grid during the session. Have sent them a screen grab from my battery export that day

The baseline used to be 10 non-savings days prior. But streamlit for me is below ????

Ah, that's good to know - I thought mine was messed up because I'd switched tariffs on the 15th, but seems it's messed up for everyone, not just me. Seems they lost the baseline tracking as the half hourly meter readings are all there.

Mine are missing (ghosted) for both the 14th and 15th now. Anyone given them a call about it yet?
