How insane is the UK electricity supply system? On Agile so have been paid to use electricity between 11.00 and 15.00 today and then being paid not to use it between 18.00 and 19.00 tonight!

That's a sign of the system working as intended - cheap/free electricity when there's a glut, demand reduction measures when there's a shortage.
If someone could build a few GWh of battery storage in the Scottish borders, they'd make a killing.

No session for me tonight,. Obviously not gaming the system but need to remember to do the things I normally do at the right time tonight so not to upset my baseline.

I only see three slots available for this weekend (11am - 2pm). The usual 2-3pm is not available this weekend.
EDIT: The 2-3pm slot showed as available later in the evening, not sure why it wasn't there originally.
Also, switching tariffs with Octopus has messed up my baseline calculations for savings sessions. It appears Octopus are no longer to calculate by baseline usage so therefore cannot calculate how much usage I've shifted, despite all my half hourly data being available. D'oh
