Octopus say you can cancel up to 5 mins before the session starts, so you can provisionally book a session now and cancel it if the weather turns out to not warrant using it.

I’ve had a lovely email from Octopus this afternoon apologising for the lack of Power Downs in Scotland. They have awarded me 2 free Bonus Stamps to level the playing field.
So suddenly I have 3 free hours to use instead of just the one. Think I might use them next weekend.6 -

I was going to use a happy hour today, but IOF decided to charge my battery overnight (8kWh) imported only had space for 1.5 so looks like I will pass ,, sadly not much solar today either.

Well, my battery typically charges at about 4kW/hr, so I set a force export by about that amount for the hour before and then set it to force charge for the happy hour, plus I turned on my water tank immersion switch to get a tank of hot water and charged a couple of pieces of kit.
I'm now fully charged ready for this evening's scheduled export.

I booked two Happy Hours today but unfortunately the sun decided to make an unforecast appearance for about half an hour in the middle of the first hour, disappeared again, then re-emerged unexpectedly about 5 minutes into the second hour 🤦🏻♀️
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -
Booked two hours today, which worked out well as it's rained most of the day so only minimal solar.

I actually got an app notification today, not had one recently. Not changed anything.

I've had notifications a couple of times now. Tonight, got home and opened my ipad to see a notification and hit the button at 5.58. Two minutes to spare!
